About the Book:
Welcome to Classroom 102, Miss Hill's math class. Follow two students, Sam and Zeina, as they learn about real world applications of multiplication as well as identifying properties of multiplication, including: identity, zero, commutative, and distributive properties.
About the Series
Follow students in Miss Hill's class as they learn about all things math. Each book is a new adventure that engages while teaching math concepts in easy to learn steps. The books are perfect for school or home and can be used for: read-alouds, homework, stations, tutoring, substitute plans, small groups, and more! In addition to multiplication subject matter, future Classroom 102 titles will be about: profit and expense, area and perimeter, long division, rounding, decimals, and protractors to name a few. Each book follows both the state of Texas and Common Core curriculum and can easily be incorporated into the classroom.
About the Author
Laura Alotaibi is a busy mom of three, an entrepreneur, and a former 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classroom teacher. She graduated with an undergraduate education degree from Louisiana State University and her master's degree, in Curriculum and Instruction, from University of Texas at Arlington. Laura currently resides in Dallas and loves to travel, volunteer and spend time with her family. Laura created the series, Classroom 102, out of a need to have additional, focused, relevant resources in her math classroom that aligns with state and federal curriculum.
