Beskrivelse af Change Your Mind and Change Your Life
Are you sabotaging your dreams?
In life, we face challenges, disappointments, calamity, and chaos. No one is immune. While you can't avoid the negative aspects of living, you have more power than you may realize to quickly move through those rough spots and come out the other side stronger, more capable, and more resilient.
As a counselor, Daun Whittaker regularly works with people who are dealing with trauma and life's disappointments, people who perhaps are "stuck" and not living the life that they would have imagined for themselves.
Through her many years of personal work and therapy with clients, Daun Whittaker has discovered certain patterns of behavior and mindsets that play a key role in keeping someone from moving forward in life in the most positive way possible. Now, through the pages of this book you have the opportunity to benefit from her training and experience.
You have more power than you know! Discover secrets to:
· The power of intentionality
· Secrets to setting priorities
· Unleashing the "start over" power of forgiveness
· Freedom from anxiety and fear
· Why words matter
These truths and more are yours to learn and apply! Get ready to increase your sphere of influence and truly thrive in life!
Daun Whittaker is the founder and retired director of Victory Transformation, Inc., a local mission in Oswego, NY that helps people who are homeless or have critical needs get on their feet again through love, life skills, counseling, and support.
Daun has dedicated her life to working with people in poverty and other vulnerable populations, such as those with disabilities, mental health issues, and victims of domestic violence.
Since 2009, Daun has been counseling in her private practice. She received her master's in social work from Syracuse University and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is also a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner and holds a Doctor of Theology in Christian counseling from Summit Bible College in Bakersfield, California.
