This is a lesson young Thomas Sharp, gentleman born and bred, learns. He stands atop society caste through his talents for equestrian eventing. But he gets a lot of help by the black stable boy, Daniel. Daniel has been taking care of Thomas's prized horse and the young gentleman is immediately smitten, affirming feelings that have been dormant inside him for so long. It starts with a friendship that turned into something more physical and passionate. The more time they spend with each other, the more Thomas feels something deeper.
