Dear Journal, Today is my sixteenth birthday, and it is going to be one like no other for more than one reason! Reason one, I will be auditioning for the lead role of an upcoming show called "Stacey Henley."The show revolves around a girl's junior and senior years of high school, as well as her journey of following her dream of becoming a singer. Reason two, Due to the fact that the auditions are being held in L.A., my family and I are here until tomorrow. After the auditions, the six of us are going to celebrate my birthday by sight seeing, doing some shopping, eating out, going to Santa Monica Pier, etc. We are even going to get to see my favorite aunt and uncle that live here in L.A.(My family and I are staying with them while here in L.A.)!Even though I am excited about what my birthday holds, I am focused on the audition this morning. After all, I want this part more than anything!-Ce
