Beskrivelse af Caroline Of Lichtfield V1
Caroline of Lichtfield is a novel written by Isabelle de Montolieu and first published in 1786. The novel tells the story of Caroline, a young and innocent girl who is sent to live with her aunt and uncle in Lichtfield after the death of her parents. Caroline is forced to confront the harsh realities of life when she falls in love with a man who is not of her social class. The novel explores themes of love, class, and the challenges of being a woman in society. Isabelle de Montolieu was a Swiss author who was known for her translations of popular French novels into German and her own works of fiction. Caroline of Lichtfield was one of her most popular novels and was widely read in Europe during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
