Beskrivelse af Captivate Renaissance
Captivate Renaissance is a retrospective study of contemporary Irish history and it's ever evolving cultural identity.
It first, in Tales of Hardship, examines the old model of rural Ireland that is being forcefully suffocated by a necessity to move on and integrate. It explores tumultuous emotions that just refuse to die out and allow a new and improved society to manifest.
Once we come to terms with permanent psychological scarring we reveal that there is in fact light at the end of the tunnel and also hope for Ireland's new and revolutionary face.
Captivate Renaissance shows signs of remorse for what is commonly recognised as traditionally Irish and yearns for it's inhabitants and diaspora to reconsider and ultimately embrace the opportunity to culturally redefine and evolve ourselves.
It's voice beckons the reader to accept this optimism as the only relevant way forward for Ireland.
