As a child, I always knew I was different. I struggled to focus in school and found it hard to follow instructions. My mind would wander off, and I would often be lost in my own thoughts. It wasn't until my teenage years that I was diagnosed with ADHD. I felt relieved to have a name for my struggles, but the diagnosis came with its own challenges. I felt like a failure, unable to keep up with my peers. I would forget assignments, lose track of time, and struggle to complete simple tasks. As I grew older, my struggles followed me. I found myself constantly overwhelmed, struggling to juggle work, relationships, and motherhood. The chaos in my mind was exhausting, and I often felt like giving up. It wasn't until I received tips and support from my friends and family that things started to change. They encouraged me to seek therapy and learn new coping mechanisms. I found myself turning to mindfulness practices and creating routines that helped me stay focused and on track. As a mother, I found these tools to be especially valuable. I was able to create structure in my children's lives, which helped them thrive. I became more patient and present, and I was able to enjoy the small moments that make motherhood so special. Now, I want to share these lessons with others who may be struggling with ADHD. I wrote down all of the tips and tricks I learned throughout my journey in this book, so that others can benefit from my experiences. It's my hope that by sharing my story, I can help others find peace, stability, and joy in their lives.
