Burchard of Mount Sion, O. P.

Around 1283, a Dominican traveller called Burchard journeyed through the Holy Land, systematically visiting and documenting places mentioned in the Bible, leaving a full and lively account towards the end of the Crusading period for the benefit of Christian pilgrims and scholars. This is a detailed scholarly edition of the two versions of his work.
