Brave Bear became a Chief who CARES

These story lessons tell how Brave Bear became a great chief by learning to: 1) Control his temper & Cooperate with others; 2) Appreciate kindnesses; 3) Respect others; 4) Encourage efforts; and, 5) Stop to think so he could speak-up calmly. Brave Bear stories teach 7 to 12 year-olds these Life Success Skills. Stories are an old way of passing on the wisdom of previous generations, learned from the life experiences. Parents and grandparents who are concerned that the media too often teach that success comes through conflict and conquest may want their children and grandchildren to learn old principles that lasting success comes through self-control, persistent efforts, and cooperation with others.
