The manuscript carries information regarding Odonata fauna of northern areas of Pakistan (now called Gilgit- Baltistan). Thirty one species were collected under two independent studies carried out during the years 1994 ¿ 1997 & 2006 ¿ 2008. Results of these two studies are merged together to provide an updated record for northern Odonata of the country. Carrying a gap of almost a decade, compilation of both studies also highlights population fluctuation in species with respect to time. Many species that were collected in huge numbers during first study were appeared to decrease in next one. Possible reasons for this decrease are also discussed. Additionally citations for all the studies carried out up till now reporting Odonata of northern areas of Pakistan are also provided to facilitate readers of this monograph.
