Pursued by Hell's minions, the Shadow Cabal, and an old friend, Michael finds himself trapped in the great kingdom of Gran Tristram. He must find a way out of prison as his hunters draw ever closer with each moon. However, the warden is a young, beautiful warrior named Mercedes, and she has a bad attitude. His only way out is to seduce her into setting him free. However, when his gauntlet, fused with a powerful dark magic, is stolen he is forced to scrap his plans and make an escape attempt. His fellow inmate feels first hand the devastation of Erebus, the Shade Hand. Soon enough he breathes the fresh air and freedom lies before him.
