An Almighty Conspiracy

A man sitting beside a detective in a bar in New York is murdered. Another man, whose warning saved the detective's life, disappears without a trace. A conman and a former Miss USA contestant form a relationship that's trusting and deceiving at the same time. The detective and an attractive policewoman, who is not influenced by people's appearances, form a relationship that changes from one extreme to another when past occurrences leak to the surface. The events move from New York to Paris. Existing players and new players are brought together by fate. There appear to be links between crimes in New York and Paris. Then a mysterious man enters the scene and past events need to be rewritten. Opposing sides form, but which is the good side and which is the bad one?
