Because of very sad circumstances within her young life, twelve-year-old Amalie is forced to move from the home and life that she loves, to
live with her Nanny Nell in a town in the country. Instead of becoming a lonely and sad young lady, youngsters of her age from her new school befriend her, making her feel wanted and comfortable in this strange new world.
Somehow unexpected and unexplained happenings surround her and her friends with exciting and sometimes scary adventures that occupy not only her days but also her imagination.
