After the Storm

This first collection of poems by John Riordan observes closely the declaration by the American poet Marianne Moore that poetry should provide 'a place for the authentic'. A native of Dublin, John Riordan now lives in West Cork with his wife and youngest daughter, having sold his communications business. He is a regular contributor to the Clonakilty Writers' Group, and his work has appeared in several publications.
