Beskrivelse af Aeschylea Orestia, Part 1: Agamemnon (1837)
""Aeschylea Orestia, Part 1: Agamemnon"" is a play written by the ancient Greek playwright Aeschylus. The play is the first part of a trilogy, which also includes ""The Libation Bearers"" and ""The Eumenides"". The story revolves around the return of King Agamemnon from the Trojan War, and the subsequent events that lead to his murder by his wife Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus. The play explores themes of revenge, justice, and the consequences of actions. It is considered a masterpiece of Greek tragedy, and is still widely studied and performed today. The English translation of the play was published in 1837.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
