A Letter from Your Father

So many wounds would heal, if he'd just talk about it. In this little letter, he does. Fathers can say and do the wrong things. Thankfully, even when it seems to be too late, the wounds can heal, when just the right combination of words are applied. Many times, a little acknowledgement and apology are all that's needed to mend decades of wrongdoing. Usually, the words we need to hear the most are the ones that no one else can bring themselves to say. One way or another, we have to provide them for ourselves. A Letter from Your Father is written from no particular father, to no particular son or daughter. It's meant to be an intermediary for those people whose fathers will never be able to string together that right combination of words.
