Beskrivelse af A Fair Quarrel
A Fair Quarrel is a play written by Thomas Middleton, a prominent English playwright of the 17th century. The play tells the story of two friends, Frank and Wendoll, who fall in love with the same woman, Anne. When Anne chooses Frank over Wendoll, their friendship is put to the test as Wendoll seeks revenge. The play explores themes of jealousy, betrayal, and the consequences of actions taken in the heat of the moment. It also includes elements of comedy and satire, as well as commentary on social norms and class distinctions of the time. A Fair Quarrel is considered one of Middleton's most successful plays and is still performed today in modern adaptations.Captain Ager The Son Of A Whore?
