A Chicken of Independent Means

Companion animals come in many forms. We usually think of companion animals as dogs and cats but I personally have met companion animals in other forms: chickens, a goat, a snake, an opposum, eagles, toads, and rats as well as dogs and cats. Most of these encounters are happy ones though often stranger than fiction! These are my true stories of special animals that have graced or perhaps distrubed my life and defininetly left lasting impressions forever. My life is better for each encounter, each relationship, each joy or sorrow.
