Gordon Meese believes all mistakes should be corrected, none more egregious than the location of the border between New Mexico and Texas. His meticulous research, coupled with his relentless insistence that the 103rd meridian is the accurate boundary line, lands him in the middle of the desert... and in some embarrassing hot water. He's too feisty and stubborn to take the hint, however, even when the FAA threatens to rescind his pilot's license. Only when Alysa Cody, a beautiful young woman new to town, reminds Gordon of the life-and the love-he squandered years earlier, does he wonder if giving up the fight might be a better choice after all.
