The Dead of Winter

Billie and Tucker are back in The Dead of Winter, the third installment of The Guardian Chronicles. The two of them are once again working together, saving lives under the new head of the Guardian department, Malcolm. With their partnership running like a well-oiled machine, Billie and Tucker seem to have finally found a place in the afterlife. Not everything is as seems with their new leader, and it's only a matter of time before long buried secrets come to light. From the roaring twenties to the chaotic world of the hereafter, Tucker and Billie slowly begin unraveling the many mysteries surrounding their former ally. They soon uncover more than they bargained for, and learn that some secrets are best carried to the grave.
