133,95 kr. The Verses of Reason is a collection of modern poetry in verses. It metaphorically reasons with life, its eloquence and endurance, in the shapes of hope, love, and departure. Earth as a magical landscape plays the background song. Life in symphonic composition, both in sublime and in real, is rippled with emotions and withdrawals. The book portrays a symmetry in its fusion of four notes, Earth, Life, Love, and farewell. It celebrates a neo-humanistic value of life, where humans feel and merge with nature as an entangled body of compassion and virtue.

263,95 kr. Fifty years have gone by since these words were written. Twenty-five years after Independence, the generation that came of age under the influence of Gandhi still retained a youthful, perhaps naive hope of building a society and a Nation that could live up to Gandhi's lofty ideals. The beautifully handwritten manuscript was prized by the family and occasionally brought out and shown to visitors, appreciated but hardly ever read. It's a special gift to bring to you in 2023, these words that cover three-quarters of a century (1903-1978) in the life of our Nation. Bishambar Das Nanda (1903-1982) was born in a small village in Punjab, a hundred miles north of Lahore, grandson to the village landlord. Through his life, he retained his love and respect for the life, people and culture of rural India. The joint family, he believed, was a model for co-dependence and social security. His first twenty-five years took him from the village of Kakrali to schools in larger villages and towns in district Gujrat Daulatnagar, Gujrat, Gujranwala, then college in Lahore. In 1928 he returned with a Civil Engineering degree from King's College, London and found employment with the Maharaja of Kashmir, overseeing roads, public works, and palaces. He moved to Quetta, Baluchistan following the devastating earthquake in 1935. In Quetta, he rapidly established himself as a prosperous businessman and benefactor. Like millions of others, this fortune was lost in Partition. He found his second calling of service to the newly independent Nation. Millions of displaced refugees had streamed into Punjab and Bengal. His training as a civil engineer and his recognition of the dignity of labour would come into play. Working for the Ministry of Community Projects and Cooperation, he built new townships at Nilokheri, near Kurukshetra, and Fulia in West Bengal, simultaneously training and developing construction and vocational skills among the refugees themselves. The Nation was embarking on Five Year Plans, and he joined the Planning Commission. Nehru's socialist vision of capital-intensive, public sector heavy industries was contrary to Gandhi's socialism of sarvodaya and swaraj -grassroots community development, self-sufficiency of the village, full employment and dignity of labour. He continued his life of service to the Nation as leader of Bharat Sevak Samaj.

178,95 kr. Essence of Dharma Yoga and SpiritualityRadha Krishna Kumar (Advocate Supreme Court of India )Available in both Hindi and English versionsThe man himself is the form of Brahman, but he does not realize it at all. He leaves this world by wasting life in ignorance. The teaching of Upanishads, the teaching of Samkhya (Jnana), Bhakti and Karma Yoga given by Lord Shri Krishna to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, the teachings of Lord Buddha, the teaching of Yoga Sutras of Maharishi Patanjali and the verses of Saint Kabir helps us to come out of ignorance and lead us towards the true knowledge. All these teachings of sacred texts and great seers remind us repeatedly about our true nature and advise us to come out of the delusion.Today, due to religious and sectarian narrowness, man is becoming the enemy of his own mankind. Saint Kabir says -'Hindu kahe Mohi Ram Pyara,Turk (Muslim) kahe Rahmana, wapas me dou ladi ladi muye,Maram Na Kou Jana.'Saint Kabir says that The Hindus and Muslims often fight due to communal misunderstanding. The common people are not aware of the true essence of religion. Today there is jealousy, hatred, discontent, anger and negative thoughts everywhere. Day by day humanity and human sensibility is vanishing, which is a threat to human existence. Love, fraternity, happiness, non-violence and compassion are the basis for making human life meaningful, which can be created only through spirituality and yoga. The author through this book has tried to present the essence of religion, yoga and spirituality on the basis of the sacred scriptures, authentic texts and the thoughts of sages, so that the darkness of confusion and ignorance can be removed from human mind and positive thoughts may be generated in the world. In this book the characteristics of Dharma, God, soul, maya (delusion), avidya (ignorance), law of karma and the principle of reincarnation have been discussed. All religions, spirituality and yoga have been explained in detail so that this book can be useful for every human being.A person knows many things about this world, but he is ignorant about himself. He doesn't know his true nature. Is man just a body made of the five elements, mind, the five sense organs, the five karma organs, or is he a form of Brahman? The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says that 'Aham Brahmasmi' which means I am Brahman. The Chandogya Upanishad says that 'Tat tvam Asi','Tatvamasi' means that Brahman is in you, in me and in all living beings. The Aitareya Upanishad says - 'Pragyan Brahman', that is, the realization of Brahman is the true knowledge. However, a man can realize his Brahman form only in the state of Samadhi.

During this period, he experienced a nervous breakdown. Over the years, he introspected on the objective experience of the mental breakdown and its subjective inner story. From this deep reflection emerged the fictional story of the madness of Monty the Mirror Neuron. The eye of childhood works with fiction to come to the facts of mental illness. It attempts to arrive at an understanding of the broken mind through psychotherapy, neuroscience and good old-fashioned storytelling. If you can tell a story, your story, you're ok.

208,95 kr. The themes of Naturocracy could be interesting for a wider audience around the globe; reading it requires no specialised academic background. Not getting attached to anything or anyone is tremendously important in order to grasp the essence of the book. Those who think rationally and who do not want their daily lives to be dictated by others may find it a valuable read. This book is about religious brokers who deceive and control people in the name of God. It raises many basic questions about the role of religio-politicians who divide humankind in the name of religion to create disharmony among peaceful people in a society. Religion is a completely personal affair. Nobody needs any religious traders to know what is right and what is wrong. Each human being can understand the language of nature independently without explanation from any spoken human languages.I have striven to unearth what makes people religious. Those who do not even understand what a tiny creature like the humble bee is, how can they define its creator? I have always wondered about this. If the creator of this mysterious universe had given any holy book for mankind to follow, then he would have clarified the existing fragmentary or contradictory statements in it. But how can preachers clarify and even correct the words of the Almighty? How did they know the mind of God when they did not know about themselves? Can there be any greater sinners than those who lie and commit crimes under the religious umbrella? Against the evils of society, there should be a nature-inspired political platform for my motherland where people of all colours and creeds can live together in harmony without imposing their religious convictions on others.Who is ruling a country is not so important for the ordinary people, but how it is being ruled is of paramount importance. The economic scale, which measures the rich and poor countries of the world, is inappropriate to measure the joy and sorrow of their people. Common people all over the earth believe in living in true peace and happiness rather than with material comforts. The more we interfere with nature, the more we will suffer for it. The root of this is the relentless desire for more pleasure and power. We must respect and accept natural laws as we are not above the laws of nature. In nature, there is no such thing as rich or poor. People in the financial economy are arbitrarily putting a monetary value on the natural economy which makes the natural economy unsustainable.Once you have the picture in your mind's eye, you will lucidly understand that the greatest damage being done to our planet today is being done by humans. On no account must we work anymore against nature but together with it.

Breaking it just to build it again and breaking it further to create something majestic from the beginning. This is life. This is the path. This is the perspective which results in the numerous experiences that we go through in our life. This book is a compilation of poems that were born from the various emotions I've had, beginning from the freshness of the dawn to the silence of the night, and every moment in between. Beginning from the innocence of love to the pain of loss and every moment in between. A compilation of poems that would take you through a path not taken, giving you new perspectives hence giving you newer experiences- The Ancient Empty Street.
