- Finding faith while battling an incurable disease
172,95 kr. Born with a severe hearing impairment, author Mike Garrigan learned to be a highly-competitive fighter early on, with a never-give-up attitude, which was usually enough to overcome the challenges and struggles he faced in his early years. Yet, nothing could have prepared him for the unexpected storm that bore down on him as he entered his college years. A routine eye exam resulted in the diagnosis of an incurable disease, which hit him like a hurricane as he struggled to understand it. He learned that the disease, Usher Syndrome Type II, would slowly rob him of his vision and eventually result in blindness. His future appeared to be over before it had even begun. After graduating from college, Garrigan moved from the Midwest to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue a career. Garrigan decided to try to take control of his future, press forward in his own strength, and fight for the normal life he had always imagined. His disease, however, had other plans. As he marched toward blindness, he found himself taken by surprise once again. No one had prepared him for a storm of another kind: Garrigan found himself vulnerable and trapped in the miserable dark hole of depression, hopelessness, and suffering. Then something happened that changed everything. How could this pivotal moment possibly offer a way out of the trap he found himself in? How could joy and hope for the future spring forth again? Readers will find these answers and inspiration in Garrigan's USHERED OUT OF DARKNESS. Mike Garrigan is a graduate of Ohio University and worked in the technology field for most of his career. He is the father of two daughters and lives in Anderson, SC, with his wife, Becky, and guide dog: a golden retriever named Fuzz.

In this book, we looked at the details and meaning of each of the six armor pieces of God, we will dive deeper into purpose for each of the six pieces of the armor of God, and how to put on the full armor of God in practical ways. It is essential as a follower of Jesus Christ, that you would put on the full armor of God, so that each day you can fight the good fight and keep the faith until our Lord's return (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Once more, Let's go back to the main passage of this discussion, Ephesians 6:10-18, and reflect on how we can put on the full armor of God. Pastor Jeffery Kolling are here to help build your faith through Gods word, and help you reach the full potential the Lord has for you. Their vision for this ministry is to see lives changed through coming to know Jesus Christ. They want to see the broken, hurt and bruised of this world restored by God's miracle working power. - REJOICE! BE GLAD! (Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow)
166,95 kr. Coronavirus began in China in 2019. 2020 will be remembered in every nation of the world, each battling the pandemic, even into 2021. "THIS IS STILL THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE" is based on Psalm 118:24. The first and the last verse of the psalm are as apropos, "Give thanks to the Lord" (NIV) Thanksgiving is my theme throughout. The second of two books (similar title), this book July - December; the first, January - June. I've added a little fun by including numerous National Days of the Year, hopefully entertaining? Politics intrudes, 2020 being an election year. I show my colors. Not everyone will agree with me! Charles de Gaulle said, "Politics is too serious a matter to be left to the politicians." Lincoln: "Be sure to put your feet in the right place, then stand firm." And Jefferson: "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government for wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Amen to each! Every day, rejoice and be glad! My writing career began in 2010 after my wife succumbed to breast cancer and my forty-five years in Christian education. Barbara and I had three beautiful kids and now ten wonderful grandkids. Reading, writing, biking, gardening, and birding allow me to enjoy fresh air and sunshine every day. Worship often inspires my writing. If an idea for a book or just a title, I get up, jot a note, and develop that thought in the morning. Coronavirus prompted me to write when "Stay Home, Keep Your distance, and Don't Gather" was the rule. These two books are my seventh and eighth publications. I plan many more. God is good! His love endures!

- God's Word Living Through Us
168,95 kr. Most people, including myself, struggle with how to live out this life as a Christian. When I started to teach men within the prison system, I was amazed at how many of them didn't have a clue about what it means to be a Christian. What goes on inside of us and what process do we go through as we walk out this experience that Jesus called, "Born Again?" I started to pray that God would show me how to bring illumination to them, about how the process works inside of us. I wanted to help them realize who they were in Christ and who He is in us, and how to grow up in the Lord. What does it mean to be "Born Again?" What about righteousness, redemption, justification, and the process of sanctification? What do they practically mean to us? These are all good questions that need answered if we are to walk in victory. I believe that when a person realizes who and what they have in Christ, they will walk a completely different life. Their whole outlook will change. Another reason that this knowledge is vitally important for us is that it will help us understand how the enemy works against us. Only then can we stand strong in the Lord. You see, I believe that you must know what the process is within you before you can understand how and why the enemy tries to stop that process. In other words, if you don't know his tactics, you will never be able to counter attack him and walk in victory in your daily life. And how can you ever aspire to understand his tactics, if you don't know how God works inside of you. So, I wrote this book to help people understand The "Born Again" experience and how to walk it out on a daily basis, in a practical way. Dr. Russell (Rusty) Houser has been the Senior Pastor of New Life Church in Vidalia, Georgia for the last twenty-two years. He also serves as Chaplain at Montgomery State Prison in Mt. Rusty retired from the United States Naval Submarine force in 1995 as an ETCM (SS). Him and his lovely wife, Tina, have been married for thirty-eight years and have two beautiful daughters, Brittany Hayes and Katie Houser, one son-in-law, Chris Hayes, and five wonderful grandchildren, Kaylee, Addison, Elizabeth, Georgia and Noah.

- A Practical Guide
186,95 kr. Technology and church ministry: two concepts that many may think have nothing in common with each other. However, for author Jonathan Lonon, church ministries are missing out on ample opportunities to share the gospel with others just because they have not or are unwilling to embrace technology. In his new book, Effective Technology in Ministry: A Practical Guide, Jonathan discusses the pros and cons of using technology in church ministry and spreading the gospel. Through research and personal experience, Jonathan has seen that several churches are not using the engaging means that technology can provide to develop congregations and empower the message of Christ to others. With his "techie" background influencing his beliefs in the benefits of technology, Jonathan hopes to educate readers on technology to dispel fears, uncertainties, and the general assumption that ministry could be hampered by technology. The belief to Jonathan is that if businesses can be improved upon through the advantages of technology, so can churches that are in the "soul business" of guiding people to God. Effective Technology in Ministry: A Practical Guide offers the Simple Strategic Approach for people of a knowledge of technology that provides insight on common technology pitfalls Jonathan learned while working closely with churches, as well as easy worksheets for ministry volunteers to complete as they implement more technology into church services, ministries, and other activities. The book also can be used as a scholarly resource for advanced learning in technology. Though technology is an asset to all of us nowadays, and can be as well for churches, Jonathan also discusses in his book how technology should aid, not replace, fellowshipping with others or connecting to the needs of those in the congregation and community. Technology is all around so why not adapt it where it could count the most - in your church! Jonathan Lonon is an Executive Pastor and Church Administrator for Atlanta Grace Place Church of God by Faith (COGBF). He teaches Technology, Ethics, and Governing courses at the COGBF Theological Institute and is Executive Director of Youth Building Altars, a youth mentoring program. He earned degrees from SC State and Clemson Universities; has 40+ years of tech-based experience as a computer programmer and successful entrepreneur; and is founder of The Church Technology Club - a support solution launched in tandem with this book release. He is happily married to Mrs. LaBrentha Lonon and has three wonderful children, Ashley, Quentin, and Kelsey. You can contact Jonathan on his website: https: //www.jonathanlonon.com

This semi-autobiography recounts how the author felt moved by God to seek her purpose in His plan for life, even while she was going through one of the roughest trials of her life and felt she wasn't worthy of His purpose for her. Knowing how important it is to discover and embrace our individual purposes from God, she seeks to encourage readers to form a relationship with God to learn their purposes through Him. I grew up in a single parent home with my brother and two sisters. We grew up in L.A, California in the Jordan Downs projects in watts. In those days the name GOD was often used, so purpose was lost or the knowledge of it was hidden from a Society or Community because of the drug used, so life was a challenge. I had faced many trails while on my journey seeking the Lord, and looking at my 7 children made me more determine. We weather some hard storms together, we experience being homeless, separated, living in some of the unthinkable motels but through it all my trails made me stronger and my Relationship with God grew closer. 168,95 kr. Life can be summed up into two experiences; happy experiences, or, hurtful experiences. In our Christian experience, we are told that Christ is the cure to all life's ills. He is the way out of all our problems, and, in Him exists the quick and easy way to gain all of our personal desires. However well-intended these messages may be; how do they compare to the message of Christ calling Christians to a "cross-bearing lifestyle?" How does the message of "living out your best life" compare to a life called to endure hardship, various trials, and tests? In his book, "Path of Dirty Soles," Pastor Ray Robles provides a fervid, emotional, and heartfelt appeal to hold on to faith when life's "best" gets at its worse. This book holds the gripping testimony of how God is able to take that which is intended towards our worse and turn it to our great. Ray Robles also holds a Master's degree in Theology and Pastoral Care and Counseling. With a cumulative ten years of experience serving as a preaching and teaching pastor, while helping numerous of ministries in team leadership and ministry development, family counseling, and discipleship, Ray Robles is currently pressing forward as an evangelist speaking the truth of Jesus Christ at various churches and speaking events.

152,95 kr. "Surviving the Line of Duty" takes the reader into the patrol car and out onto the streets to experience some of the most horrifying events imaginable. The following are events as I experienced them. This is my descent into a living hell and how the Lord Jesus Christ reached down and saved me. Then, He gave me a purpose and enabled me to use my experiences to help first responders and anyone else who is at or near the end of the road. I believe these experiences are also proof of God's existence and that He has sent not only medical doctors, but licensed mental health professionals who are instrumental in helping us through the dark times. Psalm 40:2 says, "The Lord heard my cry and lifted me out of the slimy pit." He is waiting to lift you out, as well! "Every pastor and church should give this powerful and equipping book to all of their first responders in their congregation and community. Real, raw, and practical, this book brings the good news message of healing the wounded to those who risk their lives to protect us." -Dr. Larry Keefauver, Bestselling Author and International Teacher.

183,95 kr. Can't You Hear Her? Asks the question that I'm sure victims of sexual and physical abuse are asking as they sit quietly in pain, shame, anger, and disbelief of the tragic violation they have experienced as the world continues to move on as though nothing has happened. Can't You Hear Her, is not directed to any one person, race, national origin, gender, or culture, it is written for all. Sexual and physical violence is a world-wide pandemic that is rooted and grafted in the fabric of patriarchy and this world's systemic evils that devalues women. Listen for her voice, she has been silenced far too long, from biblical encounters, to slave trade/exploitations, to yesteryear, and today. Hear her. Join me as we journey through the Holy Scriptures and hear three violated and silenced women, who's stories are rarely told from the place of their pain and exploitations; Dinah, Tamar, and the Unnamed Concubine, of whom some may be able to self-identify with as violated women. Through an intentional and homiletically unique transformative sermon series of four, an amalgamation of impactful preaching methods was used to address the difficult subject matter of the texts. The homiletical methods used are prophetic, incarnational translation, expository (both inductive and deductive), and narrative; these allow one to see and feel the presence, touch, and love of God even when God is not mentioned in the Holy Scriptures. These four sermons lend voice to those silently sitting in our pews, gives strength to the bruised and broken spirited, and gives courage for accountability to our society and to the Universal Church to "Shatter the Silence and Stop the Violence." Through her graduate work, "Using Transformation Preaching to Bring Awareness and Break the Silence in the Church regarding Sexual and Physical Violence Against Women," Reverend Dr. Marcia Grayson has become known as "The Voice for Broken Women." Dr. Grayson is the founder of A Better Me Prayer Ministry. Through her foreign missional outreach, Marcia gained an insatiable passion and compassion for ministry. Her community and organizational involvements include being a Grand Asst. Chaplain of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World and a member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. National Human Trafficking Committee. She is a retired Correction Officer, the proud mother of twin daughters, grandmother of four, and loves her encouraging and loving parents and family.

- Lord, why are you asking this question?
142,95 kr. Our free will is a gift of immeasurable grace from the steadfast love of our great God. Outcomes of our free will are who we choose to honor and identify with, who we believe and follow, and who we give our heart to and love above all. God does not force us to choose what He chooses. That is our decision to make. The Lord of Life, Christ Jesus, asked Simon Peter, "Do you love me more than these?" It was time for Peter to choose. Peter may not have anticipated the question (we may not either) but his decision and answer were reflected in all that he did the rest of his life (and ours are, too) because the question is far more than temporal and worldly-it is of God and eternal. This is the second book by the author, whose first title was "Give Me Service" which discussed aspects of serving sacred stewardships our God entrusts to our care. Both books share the same inspiration: gratitude, praise, and love for Christ Jesus, the provider and Savior of life...

161,95 kr. Everything God creates, is relevant. What God inspires, is relevant. We are God's creation, and He inspired the words in this book. God desires that we be freed from sin's bondage. God desires for us to be encouraged and motivated in our Christian walk. But sometimes sin gets in the way, and we begin to allow sin to distort our lens. Instead, allow God to search your heart. And once God disentombs a sinful thought or desire, don't sit on His revelation. Do something about it! We need to address the motivational issues behind our sin. We have to realize that a victorious walk comes about when we stop allowing sin to master over our lives. God wants us to confront what we've been through. Fight through the weaknesses we have. Attack the issues that caused us to jump ship. You may have wondered around in the darkness. You may have rambled in the wilderness for a season, but God's sovereignty outshines the darkness. Satan loves to remind us of our issues, in an attempt to discourage our journey. But God is not surprised by our weaknesses. Don't allow sin to define you. Don't allow your past to abort your destiny. - In the Fullness of His Presence: The Mystery of the Tabernacle of David
131,95 kr. Mount Zion: In the Fullness of His Presence; The Mystery of the Tabernacle of David examines mis-understood parts of David's story and explains how they lay a foundation for understanding the Tabernacle of David. This revelation is particularly applicable today since Amos 9:11-15 declares that the Tabernacle of David will be re-built in its fullness only after the Jews have returned to their homeland. The book looks into why David's reign was different from that of King Saul's; why, for example, King David was able to offer sacrifices while King Saul could not. Mount Zion also covers the role that the Gentiles played in David's administration, including as personal bodyguards and advisors. Additionally, the book gives significant insight into the important but little understood part that the Mighty Men played in the revelation of the Tabernacle of David. Ann Tankesley has spent a life-time studying the Bible. She has two daughters and lives in Tennessee.

- Intimate Interaction in Awareness of the Presence of God
217,95 kr. How can we find God-our Father and Creator? Like the elephant in the room, is God always present with us as stated in Psalm 139? Does God's Word indicate we can connect to Him? Is it possible, even expected, for us to hear His voice? Can we be led by Him, even linking moment to moment? Testimony and truth from Scripture bring the evidence Kent experienced in pursuit of making this a disciplined lifestyle, moving from possibility to desire, and on to a steady nature of experiencing God's mercy and comfort-His insight and leading. Motivation to attach one interaction with our loving Father to the next comes from knowing the hundreds of names and descriptions divulged throughout the Bible, many of which are collected in this book. Attraction to our Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipresent Creator then becomes overwhelming. The strength, passion, and practical steps from God's Word are laid out in order and vividly in well-explained terms for the seeking reader, with many of the questions you ask about God and interaction with Him being answered. When asked to whom the book was written, Kent responded, "To my sons. I'm talking to each of my four boys, carefully and deliberately framing the thoughts for them to be drawn to Father God. The hope is that they will consistently walk in the nature He designed for us-to remain in relationship with Him." It's from a father desiring to leave a legacy, aiming his children to develop the nature of continual closeness in awareness of God's constant presence. WHY would you be looking at this if you weren't hungering to HEAR FROM GOD? The answers and motivation are in here. Author Kent Staples asks, "Can we seriously hear from Creator God?" For two decades, this observant educator, who is seasoned in ministry development, noted the walls we find interacting with Father God. His search focuses on answers from God's Word and on listening for His Spirit to reveal keys to remain intimate with the One who has a forever love for us. Reverend Staples received his Masters from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He is a teacher growing in discerning, interested in receiving God's blessing and passing it on to others. Kent has chronicled personal interactions with God's Spirit and clear Bible instruction on disciplining ourselves to remain connected to Jehovah Shammah God living in us.

187,95 kr. A GENUINE AND PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD IS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. WE CAN SEE HIM ALIVE AND WORKING IN OUR LIVES IN OUR DAY. I am sharing in this book what I have been privileged to see and experience the working of the Holy Spirit in my life. By sharing some of what I have experienced in His miraculous way, may it open the hearts of those who pick up and read this book to know, God is real, He still works miracles, and He wants you to know Him as the God He really is, not who we may think He is and how we think He should work in our lives. Not raised in a Christian home that served the Lord, Vicki Robinette thought she was supposed to make her own plans for her life. She wanted to stay in one place, raise a family, and have a little farm. Those were her plans. The Lord had other plans for Vicki. Surrendering her life to the Lord at the age of 48, Vicki's life was turned upside down. She has done and seen things that she never thought to be a part of - If it hadn't been for the Lord. He has shown her how He can take care of us if we will just be obedient to Him. She has been blessed by getting to see Him in ways that are beyond what she ever imagined. She prays that her reader's will realize that everyone is important to the Lord. No matter what we think of ourselves, the Lord loves us more that we can understand, and He wants to take our lives in His hands and transform us into a blessing to Himself and others.
