This is a collection of reflections on biblical passages and two short articles on how translation of the original Greek text is used in translating the Our Father or Lord's Prayer and Christ the Good Shepherd. There are over two hundred biblical reflections, many written during the covid-pandemic. While the authors are Catholic and references to Catholic teachings and the Fathers of the Church are abundant; this text offered to all men and women of faith, or those searching to make sense of life in their search for God in the Sacred Scriptures. Reverend David Andrew Fisher: Maronite Catholic priest, was ordained in 1984 by Pope Saint John Paul II in St. Peter Basilica, Rome. Studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. Formerly, I was Assistant Professor of Humanities at Columbus State, adjunct professor of Theology at Xavier University in Cincinnati and the University of Dayton. Presently, I am teaching Eastern Christian Theology at St. Charles Seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I am a contributing writer for many years in The Maronite Voice and serve as an outreach priest for Cross Catholic Outreach, which funds missions to the poor around the world. I was born in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Michele Nicola Grossmiller: A BSMT bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Some Graduate work in CQI, Undergrad and Graduate level Theology Studies, retired from a 40 year Healthcare Career, widowed from my soul mate, mother of one beautiful grown daughter. Born with a severe hearing impairment, author Mike Garrigan learned to be a highly-competitive fighter early on, with a never-give-up attitude, which was usually enough to overcome the challenges and struggles he faced in his early years. Coronavirus began in China in 2019. 2020 will be remembered in every nation of the world, each battling the pandemic, even into 2021. "THIS IS STILL THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE" is based on Psalm 118:24. The first and the last verse of the psalm are as apropos, "Give thanks to the Lord" (NIV) Thanksgiving is my theme throughout. The second of two books (similar title), this book July - December; the first, January - June. I've added a little fun by including numerous National Days of the Year, hopefully entertaining? Politics intrudes, 2020 being an election year. I show my colors. Not everyone will agree with me! Charles de Gaulle said, "Politics is too serious a matter to be left to the politicians." Lincoln: "Be sure to put your feet in the right place, then stand firm." And Jefferson: "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government for wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Amen to each! Every day, rejoice and be glad! My writing career began in 2010 after my wife succumbed to breast cancer and my forty-five years in Christian education. Barbara and I had three beautiful kids and now ten wonderful grandkids. Reading, writing, biking, gardening, and birding allow me to enjoy fresh air and sunshine every day. Worship often inspires my writing. If an idea for a book or just a title, I get up, jot a note, and develop that thought in the morning. Most people, including myself, struggle with how to live out this life as a Christian. When I started to teach men within the prison system, I was amazed at how many of them didn't have a clue about what it means to be a Christian. What goes on inside of us and what process do we go through as we walk out this experience that Jesus called, "Born Again?" I started to pray that God would show me how to bring illumination to them, about how the process works inside of us. I wanted to help them realize who they were in Christ and who He is in us, and how to grow up in the Lord. What does it mean to be "Born Again?" What about righteousness, redemption, justification, and the process of sanctification? What do they practically mean to us? These are all good questions that need answered if we are to walk in victory. I believe that when a person realizes who and what they have in Christ, they will walk a completely different life. Their whole outlook will change. Another reason that this knowledge is vitally important for us is that it will help us understand how the enemy works against us. Only then can we stand strong in the Lord. You see, I believe that you must know what the process is within you before you can understand how and why the enemy tries to stop that process. In other words, if you don't know his tactics, you will never be able to counter attack him and walk in victory in your daily life. And how can you ever aspire to understand his tactics, if you don't know how God works inside of you. So, I wrote this book to help people understand The "Born Again" experience and how to walk it out on a daily basis, in a practical way. This semi-autobiography recounts how the author felt moved by God to seek her purpose in His plan for life, even while she was going through one of the roughest trials of her life and felt she wasn't worthy of His purpose for her. Asks the question that I'm sure victims of sexual and physical abuse are asking as they sit quietly in pain, shame, anger, and disbelief of the tragic violation they have experienced as the world continues to move on as though nothing has happened. Can't You Hear Her, is not directed to any one person, race, national origin, gender, or culture, it is written for all. Sexual and physical violence is a world-wide pandemic that is rooted and grafted in the fabric of patriarchy and this world's systemic evils that devalues women. Listen for her voice, she has been silenced far too long, from biblical encounters, to slave trade/exploitations, to yesteryear, and today. Hear her. Join me as we journey through the Holy Scriptures and hear three violated and silenced women, who's stories are rarely told from the place of their pain and exploitations; Dinah, Tamar, and the Unnamed Concubine, of whom some may be able to self-identify with as violated women. Our free will is a gift of immeasurable grace from the steadfast love of our great God. Outcomes of our free will are who we choose to honor and identify with, who we believe and follow, and who we give our heart to and love above all. God does not force us to choose what He chooses. That is our decision to make. The Lord of Life, Christ Jesus, asked Simon Peter, "Do you love me more than these?" It was time for Peter to choose. Peter may not have anticipated the question (we may not either) but his decision and answer were reflected in all that he did the rest of his life (and ours are, too) because the question is far more than temporal and worldly-it is of God and eternal. This is the second book by the author, whose first title was "Give Me Service" which discussed aspects of serving sacred stewardships our God entrusts to our care. Both books share the same inspiration: gratitude, praise, and love for Christ Jesus, the provider and Savior of life...

Everything God creates, is relevant. What God inspires, is relevant. We are God's creation, and He inspired the words in this book. God desires that we be freed from sin's bondage. God desires for us to be encouraged and motivated in our Christian walk. But sometimes sin gets in the way, and we begin to allow sin to distort our lens. Instead, allow God to search your heart. And once God disentombs a sinful thought or desire, don't sit on His revelation. Do something about it! We need to address the motivational issues behind our sin. We have to realize that a victorious walk comes about when we stop allowing sin to master over our lives. God wants us to confront what we've been through. Fight through the weaknesses we have. Attack the issues that caused us to jump ship. You may have wondered around in the darkness. You may have rambled in the wilderness for a season, but God's sovereignty outshines the darkness. Satan loves to remind us of our issues, in an attempt to discourage our journey. But God is not surprised by our weaknesses. Don't allow sin to define you. Don't allow your past to abort your destiny.
