133,95 kr. The Brushes of Life by Donald E. Sheppard is an inspiring book which explores the idea that we all have a brush (or brushes) in life that carry our thoughts to an expression and enable us to exhibit what is within and that awareness of our brushes is powerful. Furthermore, identifying our brushes and their uses will render us more expressive, less anxious, and with a greater feeling of productivity. Dr. Donald Elisha Sheppard has been the pastor of Watson Temple Institutional Church of God in Christ in Tallahassee, Florida, for twenty-two years. Dr. Sheppard was a design artist for nine years and has taught middle school art for over twenty-six years. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Columbus College of Art and Design (Columbus, Ohio) and both masters and Ph.D. degrees from Florida State University in art education. Dr. Sheppard has been married to Sarah Rivers Sheppard for thirty-three years. They have one adult daughter, Donarah.

- God Wants An Intimate Relationship
554,95 kr. "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."(John 14:15)Jesus commands us always to pray and have constant fellowship with the Father. It is through Prayer that we bask in His glory. Prayer also releases the power of God. It is a powerful vessel, and throughout history, many things have been wrought through prayer. Yet, prayerlessness has broken our fellowship with God.Sometimes, some of us grudge prayer because there is no sweet fellowship with God due to our prayers being an act of duty as a form of Christian discipline. If our hearts and minds are barren in prayer, then we are not praying effectively; thus, we will not bear fruit. However, we should have an earnest desire to fellowship with God and not just pray because of needs but have a consuming desire to spend time with the lover of our soul. We should love the Lord with our whole body, mind, and soul. Prayer is the most earnest way we exemplify our love to God. During prayer, we are most conscious of God''s presence, and this is the time that we can give all of our being to Him. Prayer is intimate fellowship with God and seeing it as such can bring value to our prayers. This Book Is Written by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Every chapter is a wonderful blend of Biblical Principles on Prayer and personal testimonies of the effects of prayer and prayerlessness. So, I pray that through this book, I can be the means to lift you up from a lower state of grace to a higher atmosphere so that you can become to esteem and love prayer more than you did before reading this book. Prayer is a blessed thing. We need to pray more. For God''s Word tells us that we ought to pray without ceasing. As for -myself, as Luke stated in Acts 20:24, "I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself," my only desire is that "I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." It was only through prayer that I never lost my faith, my joy, or my praise.

- 11 TRUE STORIES OF BEING BIGGER ON THE INSIDE
186,95 kr. The human spirit in its purest form is extremely powerful. It is strong, determined and very resilient. The very thought of collecting powerful experiences about overcoming a challenging phase in the individual lives of a select few people was always on my mind. There could not have been a better opportunity ever to write about this topic than the current times and season we find ourselves in. The Book 'Navigating Difficult Times' is a collection of 11 stories highlighting a very difficult phase in the life of an individual and how the individual used all resources from within to navigate it and come out safely and victorious. The stories in this book also highlight how the main characters endured various demanding emotions, like grief, rejection, abandonment, and guilt, to name a few, but eventually came out stronger, wiser, and more capable out of their adversity. These characters do not wear capes and masks, but symbolize and radiate strength, self-belief, perseverance, and above all courage showing ardent evidence that adversities develop our character along with resilience, compassion, and understanding. The message is clear. It's how we choose to react to these periods in our lives and how we decide to let them mold and shape us, that truly creates a story to tell. It is all about being Bigger on the Inside. In the last chapter of the book, professionals in the field of psychology share their views helping us further through some great advice on how to navigate difficult times. This book is good read primarily aimed to encourage and inspire others helping them in their battles of life. Storms of any kind after all do not last forever. With faith, hope, courage. patience, perseverance, and resilience one can navigate through it and see the sight of a rainbow. 133,95 kr. Are you hurting, pain that comes upon your body every day as you rise? Do you have pain you''ve tried to explain to doctor after doctor, searching always for anyone who could understand and offer compassion to you? And yet no help comes time after time. No one knows, understands, or even searches information for the "Monster" that takes you to your knees, grabbing and holding anything to help you get through the unrelenting attacks that many times cause you to think you cannot survive. There is help for you. I write this to let you know we "sufferers" now have help. Six and a half years I lay in gripping, deathly pain, but praise God, help came. Read on, you can also be helped if this is your story. I''m definitely a country girl and proud of it. However, with my husband''s job with JC Penney Co. we''ve moved from one side of the country to the other, seeing much and learning to meet people from all locations in the world. We had a great time showing our two children some wonderful sights in this amazing country!I love all the people, but nothing has impressed me more than the upbringing I had in our small country area outside of Maryville, TN. I credit my mother. Studying every afternoon was her lifeline. She told us many times over how the Bible would have us live. This is my most cherished memory and certainly has attributed to the person I am today, not perfect, but always forgiven.Judy

186,95 kr. The question of how an individual is saved is paramount to salvation. Is a person saved by the "blood of Christ" or by Jesus'' vicarious propitiatory sacrifice? The answer to this question is decided by what a person believes Scripture means by being redeemed "with the precious blood of Christ (1 Pet 1:18-19." Does this statement mean that a person is redeemed literally by the physical blood shed or does the statement figuratively refer to Christ''s vicarious propitiatory death? There is no more important question than how an individual is redeemed. The questions before us are these,1. To be saved is it necessary to believe and accept by faith the changing of our blood into the divine, innocent, and incorruptible blood of Christ?2. Does the teaching that Jesus had divine blood instead of human blood deny the orthodox doctrine of the Person of Christ as stated by the Council of Chalcedon in 432 AD?3. Does Scripture, properly understood and interpreted, teach it is the vicarious, propitious death of Christ that saves man, and not the physical blood of Christ? 264,95 kr. Plantation: A settlement in a new country or region, Merriam-Webster.Ten years after those on the Mayflower started Plymouth Plantation, John Winthrop aboard the Arbella to Massachusetts delivered these words to those onboard in a sermon now known as "A Model of Christian Charity" "The Lord will be our God, and delight to dwell among us...when He shall make us a praise and glory that men shall say of succeeding plantations, ''may the Lord make it like that of New England.'' For we must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us." One hundred forty years later, the "shot heard round the world" was fired in Massachusetts, thus beginning America''s independence. America was always intended to be God''s planting. This book outlines how America began, how we have departed from that vision and how we can regain it if we want to "pursue our happiness" and restore hope to future generations.

- Twenty-Five Biblical Encounters That Provide Insight for Personal Encounters in the 21st Century.
190,95 kr. We all experience thousands of encounters during our lifetime. These encounters come in all forms. Some of the people we meet are for a reason, some a season and others for a lifetime. Some encounters are unexpected while others are planned. Consider the encounters you have had that changed your life''s direction. The Bible has many stories of encounters that impacted the lives of those involved but also for millions of people throughout the ages. David had encounters with Goliath, King Saul, and Bathsheba, each of which revealed a different view of his character and the state of his relationship with God. Life Changing Encounters and Divine Appointments explores twenty-five biblical encounters and discusses applications for 21st Century Christians and the people they interact with each day. As you read these stories, I encourage you to be more thoughtful in your encounters. Each has the potential to be life altering for both you and the ones you encounter. God uses the Holy Spirit to orchestrate encounters and divine appointments. Sue did a masterful job in capturing encounters throughout the Bible. As I read her book, it reminded me of the many impactful encounters I have had in my life. One of those amazing encounters was the day I met Sue. Her book has also opened my eyes to pay attention to the encounters I now have each day. I hope you will allow this book to touch your heart, think of your own personal encounters and open your eyes to be aware of how God works in your life with encounters.-Diane BurtonThe Masterpiece Coach, Author, Speaker Sue Z. 189,95 kr. Satan wanted to take me out, but through much prayer, deliverance, and allowing God''s Word to become Rhema in my life enabled me to be here today.Cultivating my relationship with God allowed me another chance at this thing called life. The devil did not win!! By the power and authority of God, He once again showed Himself strong for me and defeated the devil. We can go through trials and tribulations but remember the scripture 1 John 4:4 KJV - "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.Matthew 6:10 talks about how God''s will is His will on earth as it is in heaven. So, just as Satan''s defeat in heaven, he too is defeated on land. When you live a life for Jesus Christ, trials and tribulations come, and we feel that we get beaten. Do not allow Satan to trick you into thinking that he wins because he doesn''t.Even though you may have fallen, you can get back up more vital and with more power! My name is Sheela Rejoyce Wiley and, I am from a small town in the suburbs named Lacrosse, Florida. I am the middle daughter of the late Reverend Clarence Allen and Martha Allen-Durr. I have three sisters and two brothers. In all, we are a family of eight. I love speaking to and motivating people. Talking is quite uncanny because when I was just an adolescent, I was reticent. You could not pay me to say a word! I was inspired to write my book due to the horrific actual life event that occurred in my life. It was so traumatic, and I know that I could not keep this to myself. So here I am today, fulfilling my purpose by operating in my God-ordained ministry.

From the time he was a young boy in Vacation Bible School at at College Avenue Baptist church, author William Ellis had questions: - Why is there was a Methodist church across the street, a Catholic church several blocks away, and a Presbyterian church around the corner, all of which his school friends attend and they all claimed to be Christians? - If we're all Christians, why are we not meeting together to worship and praise the Lord? Denominations Are Not Necessary by William Ellis is a compelling book which seeks to answer the question, "How is the Christian church to be modeled?" One part Bible study, one part denominational overview, Ellis provides an in-depth study of what the Bible teaches about how God intended the church to look upon His departure at Pentecost. Currently, believers find multiple options for organizational gathering opportunities, many of which claim to be the only righteous path to follow in coming together and worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ. Is this really what God wanted for His body? Throughout the book, Ellis discusses biblical structure and design of the church and delves into different denominations and what their belief system is, all while focusing on the important theme of Christians coming together under the authority of Christ as one body, rather than divided factions. A fascinating read from beginning to end, this book will make you realize the true picture of what the modern church should look like, no denominations necessary!
