A cute rat lives in the pulpit of a church eating the leftovers of the bread and juice of a monthly event held by the church and its pastor. God is known by the things He has said, done, and will do. His Word and Spirit created everything that was ever made, whether seen or unseen. The heavens above have such order and precision and show the extraordinary work of His power. David said to God, "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works" (Ps. 139:14). He made veins that supply blood, giving life to every part of the body. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" (Lev. 17:11). The human mind cannot even imagine the power of God's Word and His Spirit. He divided the waters between the earth and the heavens and replenishes the earth by using clouds to distribute water in the form of rain. He opened a path through the Red Sea, and the Israelites walked through it on dry ground. Our God can do abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine. To God be the glory! Othniel E. The Sea Witch became their permanent home and their livelihood after an English bomb destroyed their wood frame house. The heavily loaded vessel lists in the summer winds as it makes its way to the Port of Danzig to unload their large nightly catch. Unexpectedly, two Nazi soldiers appear on the docks. Fredrich's father knows they have come to conscript the boy into the Wehrmacht as a German soldier. In one horrific moment, the boy's life is spared but he loses his entire family, his home, his freedom, and his hearing. How will he cope in his silent world? My book is a collection of memories of an eighty-four old woman who grew up in the 1940s and the 1950s. My family were farmers. My memories are working hard on the farm, warm summer evenings playing with my brothers in the twilight hours, Christmas on the farm with Grandma, Christmas programs at our one room country school. There are some sadness in my childhood but I chose to keep my book focused on happy times and to show the difference between the time I grew up and the way children grow up today. My poems are about family, friends, holidays, spiritual and some that are just silly little verses. Hope you will enjoy the life of this country girl who went to a one room country school with only thirty students and went on to a big city high school with over eight hundred students. I was scared when I entered the big school but I learned how to get to the rooms I needed. I hope you enjoy my book. Thank you. I am 84 years old. I was raised on a farm. I was saved when I was a young teen. I wrote as a teenager. I married a good Christian Man and raised a family. I became a widow in 2005. I decided to get my work published.

As you travel through this journey here on earth, trials and tribulations will happen. At times, life can be dark. You may feel as if there is no hope of love or redemption in this world. I have written this book of our lives so you can know love, healing, redemption, and pure joy can be achieved in this lifetime. I also wrote it to help hurting people heal from their past.
