178,95 kr. Israel: Precepts For Life Study Companion (Color Version) Have you "striven with God," beloved? You're not alone! Beginning with Jacob's wrestling God's angel, Israel's entire history has been a striving with God. But in spite of this striving and because of His original covenant with Abraham, God blessed Israel's twelve sons with a land of their own "that I may dwell among them" (Exodus 25:8). He defended them against enemies, gave them His Law, judges to arbitrate their cases, kings to lead them, and prophets to steer them back when they lapsed into idolatry. With His favor came accountability. During their worst periods of rebellion God sent prophets with messages that combined threats of judgment with promises of restoration. But one by one Israel persecuted these messengers and even murdered some of them including, at the last, God's only Son, the Lord Jesus. Today Israel huddles within confines much narrower than the boundary God originally promised. It's surrounded by hostile neighbors, most wanting and some even planning their extinction. The heat has been turned up in this century. God's promise of restoration holds firm, but Israel will first pass through "Jacob's trouble"- a time of turmoil for Israel, national upheavals, natural and economic disasters, and amplified demonic wickedness for the entire world. This ends when the Messiah returns to claim His rightful throne and inheritance of all nations and "turn godlessness away from Jacob [Israel]." Justice and peace will reign from sea to sea; God's glory will fill the earth! Come with me now to learn about this nation that has striven with the very God who destined them to display His glory (Isaiah 49:3). There's much we can learn about our own spiritual lives from them. And this is the nation to watch . . . in the end times we're in! The time is short, beloved. Darkness approaches . . . but then Light! Are you "prepped" for this? -- Kay Arthur

178,95 kr. Marriage Without Regrets Study Companion (Precepts For Life) "And so they lived happily ever after!" What happened to yesterday's fairy tale ending? Today we're living every other "ending," a time when marriage is devalued, minimized, trivialized, even scorned. The commitment to stay married in spite of poverty, sickness, and "worse" things has been replaced with "so long as it works well for me!" Fuses are short, anger long and bitter. Separation and divorce are rampant. Alternatives like "living together" last only a short time. Warring genders seek out their own sex for comfort (homosexuality). Children are major liabilities many prefer to do without. Why has our culture abandoned marriage? There's a simple answer to this. Our society has rejected marriage because it has rejected the God of truth who created not only the covenant of marriage but also the very genders to enter into the contract. Today these truths and principles of God's eternal Word are rejected, mocked, belittled, or just plain ignored. And we've inherited all the heartache, isolation, regret, guilt, loneliness and hopelessness that accompany the rejection of a personal God. We're alienated first from God and then from each other. It doesn't have to be this way in your life, beloved. The eternal Word we turned away from is the way out-the path to not just a marriage but also a life without regrets. Jesus said "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me" (John 14:6). I took this "way" a long time ago and have never looked back. Following it entails courage to swim upstream, go against the grain, reject status quo. It means taking a stand against a culture that has taken particular aim at God's first two covenants-life and marriage. It means defying majority belief, standing up for absolutes in a relativistic culture. God promises more than just "no regrets." Jesus said He came so that his sheep "may have life and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). That means abundant marriages too, abundant relationships generally, a new family, a new future, a new you. If you're married or are planning to marry, I know you want a marriage without regrets, an abundant marriage filled with love, trust, hope and great memories. I have a lot to share with you because I failed miserably the first time around when I was an unbeliever. Jesus changed all that; He raised me out of the living death I was "living." Join me in this study of His Word. Let's renew our hope together! -Kay PFL Marriage Without Regrets is a 40-lesson study based on the 40-program "Precepts For Life" series with the same title based on Kay Arthur's Gold Medallion Award winning A Marriage Without Regrets (@2000, Harvest House Publishers).

233,95 kr. Voices: Hearing God in a World of Impostors New Testament) When so many voices claim to speak for God, how do you know what to do? Jesus and His Apostles spoke many times about false prophets and warned against those who disguise themselves as harmless sheep but are in fact wolves ready for the kill. They taught how to stand firm in truth in the face of these threats. Lying prophets, fraudulent spirits, and false teachings threatened the early Church and they continue to do so today. Believers should constantly stand guard against those who cleverly "lie against the truth" (James 3:14). Considering the fact that the New Testament closed special revelation, we'll look at how God communicates to His people today so we can learn to differentiate the true and the false and stand firm in these last days. We'll answer questions including: - How has God spoken in these last days? - What warnings does Jesus give about other voices? - How can we know truth in this age of lies and deception?

233,95 kr. Voices: Hearing God in a World of Impostors IN A WORLD OF SENSATIONAL SPIRITUAL CLAIMS, do you ever wonder when you should listen and when you should run? Jesus warned His disciples in Matthew 24:24 that "false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." IT'S TIME TO STOP WONDERING and start discovering biblical answers so you can discern and stand firm in these last days. In this study, you'll examine the Bible for yourself and hear God's voice throughout the pages of the Old Testament. You'll also start learning how to identify the source and methods of other voices that seek to destroy.
