"" নিশাচরের আর্তনাদ "" রহস্য গল্প অর্থাৎ গোয়েন্দা কাহিনী, কিশোর কিশোরী থেকে বৃদ্ধ বৃদ্ধা সকলেরই খুব প্রিয়। শার্লক হোমস এবং এরকুল পোয়ারো'র নাম শোনেন নি বা তাঁদের গল্প পড়েন নি এমন পাঠক বিরল। ছোটবেলা থেকে ব্যোমকেশ, ফেলুদার গল্প পড়ে বাঙালি কিশোর কিশোরীরা বড় হয়। চরিত্র দুটির সাথে একাত্মতা বোধ কাজ করে তাদের কল্পনার চারণ ভূমিতে। একাধারে ওঁদের দুঃসাহসিক কার্যকলাপে তারা রোমাঞ্চিত হয়, আবার তীক্ষ্ণ ক্ষুরধার বুদ্ধিমত্তা দেখে তারা চমৎকৃত হয়। বলাবাহুল্য, কৈশোরে আমিও তার ব্যতিক্রম ছিলাম না। ব্যোমকেশ, ফেলুদা, কাকাবাবু, ঘনাদা এবং শবর পেলে নাওয়া খাওয়া ছেড়ে আগে শেষ করে ফেলতাম। তখন থেকেই ইচ্ছা ছিল সিরিয়াসলি লেখালেখি করলে রহস্য গল্প অবশ্যই লিখব। ছোটবেলা থেকেই লেখালেখিটা নেশা। যেটুকু করেছি তা ভালবাসার টানে। তারপর কর্মজীবন ও সাংসারিক জীবনের চাপ ও দায়িত্বে সময় হয়ে ওঠে নি। অবসর গ্রহণের পর শুরু করলাম পুরোদমে লেখার কাজ। প্রথম রহস্য গল্প ""চিঠি রহস্য"" পাঠক/পাঠিকাদের কাছে বিপুল সাড়া পায়। সেই উৎসাহে উৎসাহিত হয়ে লিখতে থাকি একের পর এক রহস্য গল্প। নিবিষ্ট পাঠক পাঠিকাদের ভাললাগা আমাকে প্রাণবায়ু সরবরাহ করে চলেছে। আমি কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই আমার সকল প্রিয় পাঠক পাঠিকাদের যাদের ফিডব্যাক আমাকে এই প্রয়াস গ্রহণে প্রাণিত করেছে। আশা করি সব কটি গল্প পাঠ করে তাঁরা আনন্দ পাবেন। ধন্যবাদ ... প্রদীপ চন্দ

અહીં મુખ્ય પાત્ર રોનક છે જે કોલેજના એક ખૂણામાં પડ્યો હતો, તેના હાથમાં બંદૂક હતી. ત્યાં બૉમ્બ બ્લાસ્ટ થયો હોવાથી દિવસના સમયે અંધારું છવાઈ ગયેલું હતું. ચારેય બાજુ કાળો ધુમાડો છવાઈ ગયો હતો, તેવા સમયની વાત હશે તે બેહોશ પડ્યો હતો એવુ લાગતું હતું તે જે રૂમમાં હતો ત્યાંજ બ્લાસ્ટ થયો હશે. તે અચાનક હોશમાં આવ્યો અને આજુબાજુ જોવા લાગ્યો. તેના કાન સૂન મારી ગયા હતા. સફેદ સર્ટ આખો કાળો દેખાતો અને લોહી તેના ઉપર દેખાતું હતું. તેના માથામાંથી થોડુંક લોહી ટપકતું હતું. ઉભા થવાની કોશિશ કરતો હતો તો દીવાલ પકડી તે ઉભો તો થયો. હવે શું થયું હશે તે રૂમમાં તે જોવા ગયો તો તે રૂમમાં લાશ પડી હતી બધા છોકરાની. એમાં એમ છોકરો ધ્રૂજતો હતો તો તેની પાસે ગયો રોનક, અને તે છોકરા જોડે વાત કરવાની કોશિશ કરી.

""বাতাস ছুঁয়ে গেলো"" আজ ডিজিটাল, ইলেকট্রনিকস এর যুগে আমরা সকলে কাছে বসে সব কিছু পেতে চাই, রিমোট হাতে থাকবে - টিভি, এসি,ফ্যান চলবে, কাছে যাব না। মজাই আলাদা,এমনকি আমাজন, ফ্লিপকার্ট সবকিছু নিয়ে কাছে আসবে - ব্যাংকে যাবার দরকার ই নেই - ফোন পে,এমাজান পে,ভিম অ্যাপ আরো কত কিছুই তো ঘরে বসে হয়ে যায়।কোনো লেখা আর কষ্ট করে পড়তে ইচ্ছা করেনা তবু মনের ভাষা,মনের ব্যথা, অভাবী অসহায় মানুষের করুণ চাপা কান্না, প্রতিবাদী যুবকের নির্বাক যন্ত্রনা, শাসকের চাপে - মানুষ কোণঠাসা আজও অহরহ আলিতে গলিতে।কলমের আঁচড়ে কাগজের বুকে লিপিবদ্ধ করবার বাসনা তো থেকেই যায়, সেই সাম্প্রদায়িকতা,শ্রেণী বৈষম্য কুরে কুরে খায় কিছু মানুষ কে ।যদি ওই ব্যাস্ত মানুষেরা এক বিন্দু মনোনিবেশ করেন, আজকালকার নবীন লেখকের রক্তক্ষরণ প্রাণোচ্ছ্বল কৃতিত্ব কোনো অংশে কম যায় না। বড়ো কথা সাহিত্যের প্রতি বাঙালির হৃদয়ে উদাসিনতা আসেনি। ভারতবর্ষের ইতিহাসে অন্য কোনো ভাষা-ভাষীর চেয়ে বাংলা ভাষায় সাহিত্য রচনা এবং সাহিত্যের প্রতি বাঙালির যে ওতপ্রোত টান এক বড়ো উপলব্ধি। নতুন, পুরানো সকল লেখাকে]ই আমরা সাদরে গ্রহণ করেছি। কমবেশি সময়ের অভাবে নতুন পাঠক বন্ধুরা কাঁচা হাতের লেখকদের বই পাঠের তেমন আগ্রহ দেখা যাচ্ছে না। আশা করি আমার প্রথম কাব্যগ্রন্থ ""বাতাস ছুঁয়ে গেলো"" ব]ইটি সকল পাঠক বন্ধুদের মনের খোরাক জোগাতে পারবে। কবিতার মধ্যে দিয়ে আজকালকার দৈনন্দিন জীবনের পৃষ্ঠ ভুমিকে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে, সাথে সাথে বিভিন্ন ধরনের বিশ্লেষণাত্মক কবিতার সমাহার পাওয়া যাবে। আমি মনে করি পাঠক বন্ধুরা ই ভালো মন্দের সমালোচক । এর সমস্ত গুণ বিচার পাঠক বন্ধুদের উপর।
