This book, Kymberleigh Ryan, talks about how deeply she loved her late son, Spc. Ryan N. Kettell, and how she did her best to convey this message to him and often wonders if he knew of her need for his unconditional love also. Through all of this, she draws comparisons to the way she was raised and how she tried to use her experiences growing up in a dysfunctional family to be a better parent to her children.

This is my story. I, Albert Quinones, live my life with the pain of the death of my two best friends--Ricky Kasso and Gary Lauwers.I live with the pain, sorrow, and nightmares every day. I live my life wondering if I could've done something differently to change what happened. maybe I should've said, "Let's call it a night," or did not go to the woods. Well, maybe I should've just went to the party without them. I don't know, but I have to live with this for the rest of my lifeNo one should ever see or go through what I've been through--from seeing Gary being murdered to Ricky Kasso killing himself and from the chief of police lying and saying it was a cult. And it was not a cult. Then Howard, the chief of police, retracted his statement, and then I was interrogated. They kidnapped me and beat me for four and a half hours, and the police and the DA forced me to write a statement that wasn't true with the media circus and their fake news when they were told specifically it was not a cult. But the media just wants to sell papers and destroy lives at anyone's cost. I lives with the pain every day just for being a witness.I did not write this story for fame. My family does not want me to publish this story because of their image and their name, and I lost the one woman I ever loved (L.M). Her parents made us split up for their image.Know that my family refuses to talk to me because I decided to publish the story for closure for everybody else who needs it.I have lost everything in my life because of one night. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.If the story helps give certain people closure, helps someone from going down the same hard road I went through, or prevent someone from losing their life or giving up on life--if it helps one soul--then I'm glad that I helped someone. And it would be worth going through this pain to do the story if it means I got to help someone save their life.Gary Lauwers family and I tried to stop it but I failed and I live with it every day to Gary's motherI want Gary's mother to know that her son had told me that night that he loved her. I am very sorry. I tried to stop it, and I failed to stop it. And it kills me every day. I had no control over this, but this was not a devil-worshiping cult or sacrifice. It was two kids on drugs that had a fight that got out of controlAnd for the parents out there who neglect their child and don't pay attention to their child, this is a form of abuse. When you neglect a child, they will get in trouble because they're hurt and angry to the point where they will lash out, getting themselves into trouble. Then you and the family have to deal with the tragedies and repercussions because all they wanted to was someone to care for them . That's all I wanted--love. That's all I have to say. Thank you for you your time and for reading my story.

In this what is called life, there will be good and bad. For some, life's lows seem to outnumber the highs. My story is a great example of that premise. Physical and sexual, as well as rejection, in my childhood left me with the perspective that life's lows were what life was. With very little instruction on life and what to do with it, I lived for the day, not really caring to see the next, not caring for my own life. I felt nothing for the lives of others, that carelessness put me in a place where I realized. Not only my physical person was imprisoned but the spiritual also. I knew that I couldn't escape this prison on my own. I needed something greater than myself. I sought to teach myself self-discipline and tried to enlighten myself studying religious text. But there was still a hole where I knew something should be. In my search, my eyes were really opened to evils of man, which enlarged the whole that I was trying to fill. As I was reading in my cell, one night, a wave of understanding washed over me. And I knew what I was missing: love. Here I was reading the story of a man who I didn't believe in demonstrate something that I've been missing and looking for without really knowing was missing in my life for so long. So I decided to obtain it by imitating who literally is it. And as I attempt this imitation, I see the highs and lows of life in a different light. I lived a life without hope. But there is always hope. Sometimes we just have to look for it, and sometimes we have to let it find us. And as for the highs and lows of life, I've learned to separate the pearls from the swine.

From the Front Room of the White HouseHistory, folklore, fact, and hearsay all contribute to the stories of these past generations of hill people, featuring decades of family history while being subjected to poverty, riches, hierarchy, to the lowest of lows is illustrated. Preachers, teachers, owners, and possibly slavery are explained and illustrated by the lives of four families brought together in one area, one region, and one clannish group. The story of a first-time writer born to a proud family of coal miners, lumbermen, and their distinguished women conveys the pain and hardship of the families along with the values and tributes experienced through the years until the modern day. These times show violence, compassion, religion, and hard work, combining the families from various aspects of living through the wars, Depression, highlights, and disappointment of the times.A czar of the local family--he began as a coal miner, union organizer, mine operator, and lawman, only to later serve prison time during hard times for moonshining. He returned to being a lawman and once stabbed a fellow lawman at a dance. He married an out-of-state orphan. That union brought a fourteen-year-old bride whose family once attempted to blow up a courthouse in Virginia due to a land issue.A one-armed man was the leader of the other family. A self-ordained minister who labored in the mountain life, cutting trees for the lumber company. He provided six sons for the work and joined his wife's family to provide three girls to prepare their food. His wife lived an exciting life raising the sons of a preacher. Shootings and death, even by the wife of one son, with two sons following the self-ordained ministry route, thus created challenges and excitement. Alcohol and religion are a surefire basis for interesting stories that surrounded her and her family. After writing this story, it seemed violence, religion, and family joined together to create a clannish, proud, and honorable history. Religion and violence seemed the main ingredient for our family through the years. Join us in remembering the stories and events.Sincerely,Billy Holcomb

Some simple and exact beliefs organized religion has about an apple, a whale, three wise men at Jesus's birth, why Noah was the best man God could have chosen to repopulate the earth after the global flood, the treatment of women, slaves/Blacks, and homosexuals along with many other false dogmas will be exposed in this book. Disorganized Christianity will also address some lesser-known events like angels having sex with Eve's daughters, what the origin of the Antichrist's number 666 could be, that Eve NEVER sinned in the Garden of Eden, and the Biblical fact that Jesus CANNOT BE the Messiah.I had a falling out with my local church pastor. One week, I was singing "Amazing Grace," and the next week, I wasn't even allowed in HIS building. I decided very quickly to reread the Bible with a different set of eyes and a different heart and determine for myself if organized religion was correct in its damnation of my soul. Organized religion was not even close to being able to defend its damning position against me. I taught them scriptures and, in the process, recaptured my soul. I created a little study guide for others to fend off the relentless attacks on their souls by mean-spirited and intolerant Christians. The study guide grew into this book, Disorganized Christianity. We converted non-Christians now see the real darkness of organized religion's dogma, and we are no longer bound by its condemnation.

When you wake up on a hot July morning in the central Sacramento Valley of California, your first thought is normally, how long it will be before the temperature reaches one hundred degrees, and what am I going to do to deal with it? One of my favorite ways was to go see Mom and Dad. They always had the air-conditioning on at ten o'clock in the morning, so that seemed the best place to cool off for now. I had to pick up the papers they always saved for me anyway. Dad was out in his small backyard garden, cursing the birds for helping themselves to his brand-new tomatoes, and Mom was trying to get Dad to come in and rest; the birds needed to eat too. I picked up a copy of the famous Willows, California, newspaper, the Willows Journal, glancing past the front-page farming stories to the editorial page. Little did I know that when my eyes came to a small article written by a lady from out at Glenn, named Marge Pattison, my life would be changed forever...

A life of spiritual experiences that would shake one to the core, abuse and trauma that would destroy most people--and yet she battled on. She spent a lifetime hiding her pain and the trauma inflicted upon her. She lied and omitted information to keep a marriage together, to retain a job, and to hold on to a shred of dignity, over and over again. The lies she told herself were the most damaging. Lies like "If they know what happened to me, they'll disown me"; "They'll never love me"; "I am unlovable"; and so many more. These things she omitted were no little incidents. Many years later, her understanding and self-love grew. It is a feat, considering all that she had experienced in such a colorful life.

The Constitution...revisitedFellow citizens, the chimes of time echo revolution! The frustrated voices of Adams, Paine, Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, et al. cry out for change! Millions of graves from Bunker Hill to Iwo Jima demand it.Our Constitution, once the bible of free men, must now be resurrected on the blood of tyrants. Those lifetime-tenured November criminals, those Marxist apostles of greed and socialism spawned by the New Deal, the Great Society, and today's cabal of political czars have rendered the ballot box and our present Constitution less than worthless; but before they come after our firearms, we must vote with flint, ball, and gunpowder. If we hope to remain free, we must let the rattle of musketry be heard by those unindicted coconspirators inside the Beltway. No need for another Continental Army; with designated targets of opportunity, a strategic liquidation here and there will surely tip the scale in our favor. America, God's hallowed ground, must again be drenched with despotic blood. Capitol Hill must become another Bunker Hill.Minutemen, Sons of Liberty, volunteers, and hired liquidators, over three hundred million subjects await our making them free American citizens again. But all aforementioned carnage will be avoided if two-thirds of both houses of Congress and threefourths of the states ratify the amendments detailed in this book. This book will prepare the reader to see into the minds of the Founding Fathers and examine their original intent, confirming that America is not a democracy, as many uninformed politicians claim, but a constitutional republic.

Irwin Brunson was born the same year the Brown vs. Board of Education decision became law of land. That court decision set in motion the reality of the times as he, his brother Billy, sister Debbie, and their neighbors' two children, Michael and Gary Robison, became the first Afro-Americans to enroll in a public white school in the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine, Florida, on August 28, 1963, the same day Dr. Martin L. King's made his "I have a Dream" speech. This book is the story of his early experiences with racism, and ironically, the understanding that racism is a combination of hate, fear, and ignorance personified, limiting human growth, which in turn creates many shades in life. Through art, knowledge, and expression, he creates value that racism can never take away or destroy.

Being crowned homecoming queen fast-tracked me to an identity crisis that catalyzed my disclosure of ten years of sexual abuse at the hands of my stepfather. I dropped out of high school for the first half of my senior year while the disclosure was incinerated in my notorious stepfather's career-climbing kiln. I am recovering my authentic self from the rubble of losses amassed over years of enduring entirely narcissistic parents.I felt shame and disgrace about the unsavory and scandalous parts of my life. As a result, I kept quiet and kept my words to myself. I had every reason to die in a self-destructive implosion. Instead, I wrote this book.Recovery is a gritty and ceaseless process that has no finish line. My mother always told me I was going to "need a lot of therapy." She also told me to "never have kids because it will be the worst thing you ever do." My mother was right about the therapy, but she was wrong about the kids.Life is riddled with conflict. Conflict motivates my writing and passion for conflict resolution. Twenty years of therapy at two to three times per week helped me construct a useful and productive life, and it has allowed me to hone my native genius: being a mother.I've given myself a self-accredited PhD in life with a master's in conflict resolution and personality disorders. My greatest hope is that you are entertained and inspired by my life story. The self-discovery that occurred during the creation of this book holds some shocking conclusions. Is it possible that being sexually abused was my saving grace? Is it possible that my alcoholism is not destructive? This book is not a how-to about recovery. It is about self-discovery and where I am in the sucky recovery process.

The sixty-six books of the Holy Scripture were written by many penmen, over a space of fifteen centuries, yet it is one book and has one voice speaking through all its pages. The Bible is the word of God. It's very different from the sacred books of non-Christian religions. In those writings, it is man speaking about God; in the holy scriptures, it is God speaking to man. Reading this book, Truth, will provide you with further insights into the word of God.

As we grow and develop in life, things never turn out how we want or expect them to, regardless of how much money, family, or friends we have. We all suffer from childhood traumas in some shape, form, or fashion. We use hate, self-pity, and self-aid to suppress feelings in our mental state and emotions in our physical state. We use our free will to make decisions based off the desires of our heart, mind, and body but never our spirit and soul. Our earthly desires cause us to be blind to the permanent pain and damage because we are so consumed with the temporary pleasures that seem to fill our empty spirits and souls. We question God, our self-worth, and our purpose because in the moment of trials and tribulations, we feel alone and abandoned. I'm here to tell you that you are not alone and that God is working in your favor, regardless of the infliction of pain that you endure. It's always the things you can't see that do the most work in your life, be it negative or positive. In this book, you will read about my walk in life and the earthly desires I chose to fill me and how accepting Christ into my life mentally, physically, and emotionally changed the desires of my heart and opened my eyes to the hands that were always holding mine, every step of the way.
