Voisin's classic is still in great demand, nearly three-quarters of a century after it was first written and published. And with so many books in this area that have completely disappearedThe main point of it, so often forgotten over and over, that grass is more productive when shorn and given time to re-grow. That is the core base of all the current popular works on rotational and "mob" grazing. It's not too surprising then, that you can go through Voisin's book and find everything they are saying now as "revolutionary". Because he took the time to make a full study of his land, it's cattle, and everything anyone had written on the subject up to that point. Also not too surprising is that only the really profitable grazers actually find this book and study it. Then re-study it. Because a regular re-study of Voison's work brings new understanding, new ideas, and greater simplicity to anyone's grazing operation. As well as more profitability. The underlying basic to this work is that through managed grazing, the cows can help the grass be more productive. They help the soil regenerate through their interaction with the grass, very similar to how the vast roaming herds of grazing and browsing animals across the Western plains developed and maintained the prairies. The sheer size of those herds proved the land was capable of supporting massive tonnage of livestock through grazing - and following natural patterns. But that same land, a few decades later, first was mismanaged into a massive Dust Bowl - and then recovered from it. And that both says a lot about our own human arrogance, and our ability to use humility ot learn from our mistakes. Grazing cattle, done responsibly, can improve the land beyond what it's produced in decades before. It can start restoring the erosion that plowing nad cultivation have created. That's if we actually study that book and apply it.In that way, we can first work to make our farming more sustainable and pay its own way, then we can encourage it to save our futures by restoring the land, and producing higher quality beef and forage than it has in centuries. IF we read, study, and apply now... - - - - This is a reproduction of the original 1959 edition, formatted to trade paperback (6x9). Many original tables and formulae have been reproduced as images. What you study you become. As long as you test and practice the advice you uncover.Studying the million-word-a-year authors from the pulp magazine days found a handful of authors that not only walked their talk, but they took the time to write out how they had achieved what they did - and how. This is a collectoin of excerpt of their works. The best of the best. And in my own first year of cracking thorugh the phantom walls to writing fiction, I found that I, too, had attained the methods and status of being able to write and publish over a million words in that year. What you see in this book are the pithy short cuts that smiply writing down to its core principles. And those you can and should test for yourself - then throw out anything that doesn't pass your own test.In this second edition, I've added the ground rules that I used for my own reseearch - and the key methods of finding and distilling that vast amount of "how-to" books out there. The hundreds that are written by also-ran, plugging authors and academic types who have never hit the standards that were set before they were born. You don't have ot read hundreds of author craft books to get to the core basics. This one collection of excerpts will get you well on your way.Provided you test and prove them for yourself.Writers are made by writing - lots of writing.Somewhere along the line, they quit trying to prove that they can do it, because they already have. And their volume and quality of work proves their point. After that, you just continue to improve the quality. And that's for your readers. Because you're long past realizng that when you are thirlled obout your own writing everytime you sit down - and that means your reader will be just as thrilled. After that, the world and its own worries can go hang. Your readers are getting what they love and what they expect. This is possible for anyone who loves to write. Or wants to learn how to love it.Best of luck on your journey.Get Your Copy Now.

With complete certainty, I can tell you now - from my more than half-century of existence:Any and all successes, as well as all my disappointments are directly traced back to the principles in this book. For any set-back or failure, I either didn't know these principles, didn't understand their power, or simply ignored them. For every success, I have tracked back to taking these exact steps laid out in this book - to achieve, acquire, or attain whatever it was I wanted to be or have. And that experience is why I'm bringing out this short book you can have to carry with you and review regularly.Inside Earl Nightingale's original "Strangest Secret" recording, he mentions several books that support these ideas. If you put them together, the length is around 700 pages of text. What you are reading here is under a hundred. And this is designed to be slim and still contain the power of the best references that can educate and reinforce the key success principles Nightingale tested, then recorded in 1956.That one 78 RPM long-playing disc was the first Gold Record for a spoken-word album. And started an entire industry of recorded self-improvement books.Nightingale was a lifelong student of success. First retiring at the top of his field in his 30's, he went on to make several successful careers after that as an entrepreneur. And credits his breakthrough success to finding a copy of Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" in a Chicago book store. By that weekend, he had discovered in that book his now-renown strangest secret - "We Become What We Think About."A review of Hill's book by Nightingale is included here as an overview, along with Hill's key 6-step formula that 10-x'd Nightingale's own income in a matter of months - and then, as a simple test, 10-x'd it again a few months after that. You won't find anything unproved here. Nothing but classic, trusted, core essays that remind you of the other references that have positively affected your life. And what you won't find here is anything beyond the pared-down basic material. This book is short, to the point, and well-worth studying over and over and over - in the short spaces of time you have. The additional essays by Earl Shoeff and J. B. Jones are built from Jones' distilling Hill's material into an even simpler format - after he tested them by starting in his living room and building a 8-figure national corporation within 5 years. When you complete your reading, it's just in time for you to start over and internalize everything covered here by re-reading all over again. Over and over, until you know them by heart. This also means you should test everything you find here. Just because so many people have been rave about every essay or short book included here, doesn't mean you are going to get that same result.Test, study, and test again. Build your faith, burnish your goals until they shine bright as if burning with an inner flame.Your results are what you make them. Just as you become what you think about all the time.Fill your mind with these few principles, and you may very well be able to fill your life with unlimited success. Here's hoping you do.Scroll Up and Get Your Copy Now.

If you have everything you want or need, then why aren't you happy all the time?A few successful people have studied and tested the principles that make success inevitable. The problem is that even the most successful can't guarantee how they'll feel from day to day, from moment to moment. The solution is to get rid of those thoughts in your mind which are limiting your own freedom. Among these, the freedom to pursue happiness. That's an inalienable right each of us have. Something we were born with. It cannot be taken. It can only be given away. And everytime you get something new, it's something that identifies you. But too many people are afraid of losing that identity. So they keep buying more stuff.Their first action is to regain their own freedom of identity. Too simple. They only have to decide to find out and prove to themselves who they really are. And in that process, letting everything else go.All of this maybe doesn't make sense. Or this may seem like just another scam. Because, the world is what you think it is. You become what you think about. Whatever you consider is right - is right. Or so they tell us.You can regain your freedom to think for yourself. And then recover your own freedom to follow your bliss. Then you can be whatever you want to be, have whatever you want to have. You can get everything you want out of life.First you have to let go of all the things that are holding you back. Because - you exist in a native state of freedom, of joy, of peace, of abundance. Life is simple. The complications and problems that appear to surround you are only those you've agreed with. Let go of those agreements, test everything for yourself. Then you can have all the freedom in the world. Without limit.Because that's the way the actual world works. The limits and sacrifices you have been told that you much give up to make a living in this "real" world are fiction.Somewhere, this strikes a chord with you. Somehow this makes sense. It's up to you to decide - and act.And wherever you are, whatever your conditions:The second best time to start is now.Scroll Up and Get Your Copy Now.

  • - Lessons in Regenerative Grazing
    af Dr Robert C Worstell

It took a crop failure to learn my biggest lesson in farming:Row-cropping was an expensive gamble - but raising cattle on grass alone is almost guaranteed income. The next couple of decades proved my observation right. What people think is modern farming can lead them to bankruptcy, but grazing cattle according to Nature's principles makes farming income - and profits - predictable. In this short volume are the condensed lessons on how rotational grazing with inexpensive portable electric fencing has made farming easier, more enjoyable, and completely sustainable. The land is gradually producing more and more each year, while the soil beneath it regains its life. More grass means more cattle it can support, and means more profit every year. You get to walk in Nature every day, while your farming "job" requires few machines or chemicals while it pays you with fresh air, exercise, healthy food, and enough income to farm worry-free. Almost regardless of the weather or market prices. If - you study the land, and it's grass, and it's animals. Here is a condensed set of lessons I've learned over two decades. More than I've told anyeone - even though who have gone along this journey with me. Compiled into a single book for you to read. Compare your notes with mine. I've found sustainable, eco-positive way to heal the earth and make a decent living without stress. You can, too.Excerpt:Some two decades ago, I escaped the big city and returned to our family farm to take over running it. We were doing corn-soybean row-cropping and "fat" cattle as a side operation. Once I worked out that the farm had to have external income to pay its bills, I started working backward to find out what we had to do to make the farm actually sustainable on its own.Row-cropping didn't bring enough grain in to fatten steers for market. So we would sell our grain crops and buy feed. We had "bad years" and even outright crop failures occasionally, where the cows "cleaned up" by eating the residue stalks. That's when I first saw that you didn't have "crop failures" with cattle on the land.As I then examined the various parts of our cattle farming methods, I found that working to fatten steers on for market ground corn and protein wasn't as profitable as just selling the yearling calves themselves. Far less inputs, but only slightly lower prices. Much higher profits. Far more sustainable.Cutting and baling hay was a trade-off, since we could graze the ground we used to grow hay on to expand our available grazing paddocks, and then reallocate the money and time we invested in getting our hay cut and baled. Plus, we were bringing someone else's minerals onto our farm through purchased hay. However, this added another 25% to the cost of the needed winter bales, which should be offset by the extra grazing. So we were now over to a simple cow-calf operation, and out of row cropping. But we still needing hay supplements to make ends meet for a third of the year when the grass didn't grow. The next focus after that was to cut down our hay costs. So we had to learn to graze better. As we did, we found ourselves answering the question of how to improve the ground from year to year to raise more grass on the same land - instead of slowly (and expensively) mining it through row-cropping or over-grazing.This is the core of regenerative grazing...Scroll Up and Get Your Copy Now.

Life isn't easy when you're a library cat who was formerly a Cat Goddess out of Egypt. And then you're introduced to two young male time-travelling scientists by your friend who natively bends time herself, with the help of organic tesseracts that float around her.Of course their machine won't work - but then it does. And they are trapped in Ancient Egypt because they only went there to prove a point - and their machine was stolen meanwhile...So starts the Hermione series - the latest creations of S. H. Marpel in his mystery series, "Ghost Hunters".Now, this particular anthology doesn't only talk about Hermione's adventure. We also give Mysti a chance to explain how the Lazurai healing works. Oh, you may know the Lazurai from earlier books. But if you don't, check out the Notes at The Tao of Mysti's end. (Or get the earlier seven books in this anthology series...) Anthology containing: - Hermione- When Cats Ruled- A Case of Lost Time- Enemies & Bookends- The Tao of Mysti Excerpt: I'D BEEN CAUGHT IN a cross-fire. And just got saved from bleeding out.Now my shape-shifting was on hold until I healed. But I was stuck in human shape, having to re-learn the human experience.I don't know when I first appeared on Earth. Before recorded time somewhere. And for the last few centuries or so, I'd been happy as a library cat.But then I got bored, and started helping out with simple missions.Good thing they got to me in time on this one.Now I had to re-learn what it is to be human. Me, the cat-goddess.But I'd never be able to shift back to my native form without shooting pains up that arm - until I could understand human relationships - ones that always left the scholars of the ages mystified.Easy-peasy for a goddess. Maybe.- - - -THE FIREBALLS AND SHARP spinning discs were aimed right toward us as we arrived.Sent from rock-outcrops in the darkness beyond our glow-balls. An ambush.Sal and Jude's shields came up, but John had already gotten himself nicked. He was holding on to his other arm with his free hand, blood seeping between his fingers. We were pinned down.So I sent to Sal - "Let me out. I'll hold them while you get John to safety.""You sure?""We're sitting ducks otherwise."Sal nodded to me and to Jude.I leapt out and multiplied with alternate selves, borrowed from multiple time-lines. All of us tiger-sized now. And we each held the small groups in stasis. Something I could do indefinitely.Sal and Jude took John out of there. The attackers and my multiple me's were now all in a Mexican stand-off.Until their reinforcements came in.Then one of my other future selves went down with a bad slice and a lot of blood. I signaled the others to retreat and take her with them. Then shrunk down to my smallest cat size and bounced out of harm's way to a small rock outcropping that was out of their firing-sights. Mostly. It was just a nick, but I wasn't going to hold that blood in with my tiny paws. And any larger form that had regular hands would stick out enough to become a target.... Get Your Copy Now.

This contains the first 8 of the 12 stories in the published book The Man Who Knew Too Much and Other Stories. In these 8 detective thrillers, the main protagonist is Horne Fisher. (The omitted four are individual stories with separate heroes/detectives.)Due to close relationships with the leading political figures in the land, Fisher knows too much about the private politics behind the public politics of the day. This knowledge is a burden to him because he is able to uncover the injustices and corruptions of the murders in each story, but in most cases the real killer gets away with the killing because to bring him openly to justice would create a greater chaos: starting a war, reinciting Irish rebellions, or removing public faith in the government.A film of the same title was made in 1934 and remade in 1956, both directed by Alfred Hitchcock, but the films had nothing at all in common (except the title) with these short stories. Hitchcock decided to use the title simply because he had the rights for some of the stories.(Reference: Wikipedia)
