Discovering in this work the Hebraic restoration that is underway in the world, one finds a deeper purpose and fufillment of what God intended in reaching the Jewish people with the Gospel. When properly understood, and a heart of understanding of Love for the Jew is discovered, Romans 11:11 becomes before us in a way never seen before; "The purpose of Gentile salvation is to provoke the Jew to envy." Throughout this work, the reader is taken on a journey with thought provoking questions that follow each chapter, and provocative search is found that will change the way we see the relationship between Jew and Gentile, the Church and Israel.

Judaism is a religion and culture based on memory. Upon one festival to another, Jews are rminded of what brought them to the land of Israel after so many years, and how they have survived throughout their history. Passover is a day entirely one of memory as well as obedience to the command to honor the Passover! Considered the Crown Jewel of Judaism, Passover, it is the first of the three great annual festivals held in Nisan 14th to 21st, all Jewish people were required to gather in Jerusalem. Because it is the first of the Spiritual New Year it is called the Crowning Jewel, as the entire spiritual year is celebrated by it. Passover first became known by several distinct passages relating to the Passover in Exodus and Deuteronomy. Its original intention, the unleavened breadand, the first-born sanctified, are mentioned as well as the paschal lamb. In Exodus 23: 14-19 we see the paschal lamb as "My Sacrifice and, the feast called "unleavened bread." The redemption of the first-born is also noticed in 24:18-20; Exodus 8:8. Then in Deuteronomy 26:1-8, the command is given to keep the Passover in Jerusalem. In Exodus 5:1, "And afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh; "thus saith the Lord God of Israel, let my people go that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness." So important was this historical event, Yeshua chose the Passover to outline the course of events that would follow during the last days of His ministry. In other words: Passover was the pre-arranged framework for his final days! The ceremonial meal came to be known as the "Seder" meal, together with the whole evening it revolves around the telling of the story of the exodus of the Jewish people from Egypt. The entire ceremony unfolds like acts in a play. Filled with drama, it invites participation and learning for all ages. Preparation for Passover during the times of the Israelites in Egypt required that each Jewish household roast a lamb, and it was required to be roasted whole. * It was written that there were so many lambs in the fields for Passover surrounding Jerusalem two thousand years ago that the fields looked pure white. Great care was taken that not a bone of the sacrificial lamb should be broken. One of the names of Passover PESACH, means "limping," which comesfrom the limping of the lamb when it hobbled just before it was killed. The animal was bound and wounded there before it was killed. Then the lamb was to be eaten entirely the same night with bitter herbs. Any remaining portion was to be burned. Then the blood of the victim was to be sprinkled on the doorpost. Gathering together during this time with this Passover Haggadah will engage all ages for a time of observance and richness. Both Jew and Gentile will experience the unity and beauty of Passover.

  • - Reasons We Have Not

Reaching the Jewish people has been a source of theological debate for decades and more, a large consensus today realizes that God's arm of salvation has long been extended to the Jewish people. Still, there is much work before us.Consequently, I see walled up in some cases, and barring access to the primary mode of Jewish evangelism; from individual to individual. Here we shall see how important the individual believer is in Jewish outreach and the necessity for equipping and training. This remains our greatest challenge. On a leadership level, the state of exception that I have found in Jewish Evangelism, in will and energy, is certainly attributed to a broad spectrum of causes. But paradoxically, there is a sense of strangeness given the familiarity of our Lord's mission to the Jew first. And the reluctance to "call it out" may be caused in part to the alienation of the Jew in Jewish outreach. Is it possible given our times that we can establish something coherent here. Could we go beyond, rather than within the reality that has always been.

For whom is this book intended?Sacred Journey II picks up where the first edition leaves you on a ledge wanting more. The journey into the Sacred Journey of the Bible is wonderfully and clearlyt laid out, that from the novice to the serious bible student, no one is left in the shadow of this wonderful topic. Are you curious about the mysteries of the Godhead?  Have you felt ill-equipped to explain or defend some deep truths about the Godhead?  Then this book is intended for you. This small volume contains uncommon knowledge about the mysteries of Godhead.  New knowledge?  No recovered knowledge!  My purpose for this volume originates from a personal desire to restore re-discovered forgotten truths about the Godhead drawn from ancient interpretive understandings of scripture, especially those concerning Messiah.  It is a book for those who want more concrete evidence to support their own beliefs and provide a strong defense for the foundations of their Biblical faith. If you have had doubts about the constancy and unity of truth to be found within the Old and New Testaments concerning the Godhead and other related truths, this book is for you. If you are a Bible teacher and are looking for a clear way of presenting the Godhead to your students, this book is for you. If you have yet to be introduced to or convinced of this truth statement, ''The Old Testament is the foundation for all of Jesus'' and His Disciples'' theology'', then this book is for you.Modern Biblical Study is about ''recovery and reclamation'' as much as it is about ''revelation''.  Some especially important methods of interpretation that are demonstrated within scripture, along with reclaimed and well-established interpretations, had been forgotten and therefore neglected. This volume does not make a claim to have recovered everything, but it makes a sincere attempt to share what has been rediscovered by both Jewish and Gentile believers.

Is it possible to ask some seemingly deep and complex questions about the revelations of the Bible and be given answers that remove the mysteries and prove the Bible to be trustworthy?Whether they are questions pertaining to the origin of life, or to the nature of God, or man''s relationship to God, can we dare to ask some hard questions and trust the answers to be true? The world asks questions at times seemingly destroying what we believe the Bible declares to be true, and leaves us wondering with Pilate "what is truth?" If the Bible has answers that will strengthen our convictions and move us into a deeper relationship with God, wouldn''t it be helpful if we knew them? What if we can find extra-biblical sources within the sciences that support the claims made about the content of scripture, wouldn''t this be worth knowing? When I refer to a Sacred Journey, I''m not referring to a religious pilgrimage. A religious pilgrimage is very much centered upon the destination more than the journey. Sacred Journeys are those endeavors that involve one or more individuals who are singularly and jointly focused upon a unified discovery of their spiritual purpose and destiny. It is "sacred" because it involves divine knowledge as well as divine outcomes. It is a "journey" because it involves and embraces movement and change and it can occupy the entirety of our lives to pursue.Sacred Journeys are not measured by mile markers, nor are they to be considered as a collection of accumulated experiences. Certainly, time is a factor, and along the journey, there will be memorable experiences, but what makes it "sacred" is its proximity to a knowledge of the divine. The journey will include an exposure to religious literature. It will ponder moral standards. It will include an examination of social and cultural structures. It will ask questions for the purpose of discovering truth.
