168,95 kr. I'm the head of the Masciantonio family. I'm a dangerous, ruthless, unforgiving man, and I know how to fight dirty. Fate put Emilia Trassato in my path. I saw a future with her-I saw hope. But she didn't agree, and I let her walk away. Now she's back, but I'm no longer free to claim her. However, the minute our eyes meet, I know there's nothing in this entire goddamn world strong enough to keep me from her. She's the only woman I've ever wanted, and I don't care how many promises I have to break, or how many lives I have to destroy...I'm not letting her go. Not again. Because this time...she's mine.

168,95 kr. Zack is the total package. He's young, intelligent, gorgeous, and he's also the CEO of a very successful construction company. No wonder men despise him while women throw themselves at his feet. When a friend insists Zack wouldn't know a hard day's work if it hit him in the face, he has no choice but to prove his friend wrong. But what Zack didn't count on was getting distracted by the brown-eyed beauty from sales and marketing. Claire is feisty, confident, and has the potential to become a huge complication. Yet he can't stop wanting her in ways which are completely inappropriate since...well, he's her boss. But she doesn't know that. Not yet, anyway. So, for now, he'll keep his teeny-tiny secret and be her boss...undercover.

198,95 kr. On the July 4th weekend of 1948, John Clellon Holmes (1926-1988) met Jack Kerouac (1922-1969) in New York City for the first time, and the two became lifelong friends. As a young, ambitious novelist, Holmes knew Kerouac as a mentor and comrade in a literary movement eventually known as the Beat Generation. They shared New England roots and shared the same birthday (March 12; Kerouac born in 1922, Holmes in 1926). They were characters in each other's novels, and they fed each other encouragement over the years through letters and get-togethers at Holmes's home in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, until Kerouac's untimely death at age 47, on October 21,1969.In four essays first published under one cover by Limberlost Press in 1985, Holmes writes about the influence of their common New England roots ("Rocks in Our Beds"), about his genuine friendship with Kerouac ("The Great Rememberer"), about going to Kerouac's funeral with poets Allen Ginsberg and Gergory Corso ("Gone in October"), and about atttending the 1982 Naropa Institute 25th anniversary celebration of the 1957 publication of On the Road as a last hurrah. This new edition of Gone in October comprises a deeply heart-felt remebrance of literary friendship and personal loss, reprinted with permission of the Estate of John Clellon Holmes in honor of the Jack Kerouac centennial in 2022.
