Aquaculture, also known as fish farming, is the controlled production and harvesting of aquatic organisms in various ecosystems. This includes a diverse range of aquatic organisms, including finfish, shellfish, amphibians, algae, and plants. Aquaculture contributes significantly to poverty reduction and natural resource conservation. Aquaculture makes a significant contribution to the global economy and food security. More than 5,00,000 fish and shell people are employed (full-time, part-time, or occasional), and an estimated 600 million people depend on fisheries and aquaculture for a living (FAO, 2022). Probiotics are defined asorganisms and substances that contribute to intestinal microbial balance" in their original definition. Probiotics were developed and applied in aquaculture for environmental and consumer health reasons. A probiotic is a bacterial supplement containing one or more cultures of specific non-pathogenic bacterial strains. Probiotics contain a diverse range of live microorganisms, such as yeasts, photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, and various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. When added in sufficient quantities to ponds or tanks.

There is a great concern about the global increase in the prevalence of obesity especially in children and adolescents. As the problem appears to be increasing rapidly in children as well as in adults, the true health consequences may only become fully apparent in future. The major health consequences associated with overweight & obesity, namely NIDDM, CHD, HTN, gall bladder disease, psychological problems & certain types of cancer. The detection of obesity in children has sent alarm bells; hence recent studies have concentrated on this very vulnerable group. It is very essential that the data on prevalence of obesity in school children and the factors responsible for the obesity should be available to suggest interventional measures. This study is a step in this direction.

The relevance of animal welfare issues has increased recently, not just in developed but also in developing countries, where enhancing animal welfare laws can lead to increased trade opportunities, productivity, and animal health. Because labor and land are less expensive in these countries than in industrialized ones, they will likely have a natural economic advantage in producing agricultural items at a lower cost. The Indian dairy farming system is made up of two parts: the older, small-holder production system and the more modern, growing commercial dairy farming systems. The issues and worries regarding animal welfare in these two production systems may vary because of the different agricultural practices and applications of modern production technologies.

Examining the motivating factors, cost implications and associated challenges as well as the benefits of ISO 14001:2004 based EMS in ISO 14001 certified industries located in Addis Ababa City and its environs is given due attention in this study. Hence, a descriptive survey method was employed to address the focus of this study using questionnaires, interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that ISO 14001-based EMS implementation was motivated by different factors, including the need to improve resource efficiency being the top factor. All the selected industries were forced to incur some amount of cost and encounter various challenges during and after EMS certification. However, by contrasting their benefits with other aspects of EMS the industries agreed on the successfulness of the system in attaining the desired economic and environmental objectives. The findings of this study and many others made on industrial pollution indicated the need for urgent policy and regulatory shifts and also the creation of an enabling environment in terms of institutions, partnerships and incentivizing mechanisms.

The plant Hibiscus rosa sinensis Linn. Is a shrub and belongs to family "Malvaceace". It is commonly known as ' Jaswand' in India. It is also a houseplant and is traditionally known to possess various medicinal properties known to contain anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Considering its medicinal properties, it was selected for study. The plant Habiscus rosa sinensis Linn. Was subjected to aqueous, alcoholic extraction. The extractability of aqueous and alcoholic extract was worked out to be 20 and 40 %, respectively. Both the extracts were brown in colour and semisolid in consistency. The aqueous and alcoholic extracts were evaluated for the presence of active principles. Which revealed steroids, Alkaloids, Proteins, Reducing Sugars, Saponins, Tannins and Flavonoids. Both the extracts were screened for analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activities. It was observed that both the extracts @ 100 and 200 mg/kg body weight showed significant analgesic activity in rats by tail immersion method in a dose-dependent manner and was effective at 1% level of significance.

Biomimetic agents play a crucial role in reducing white spot lesions by mimicking the natural processes of enamel remineralization and repair. These agents are designed to enhance the tooth's natural ability to remineralize damaged enamel, thereby reversing early signs of decay and preventing the progression of white spot lesions. Biomimetic materials typically contain bioactive components such as calcium, phosphate, and fluoride, which are essential for remineralizing enamel and restoring its strength and integrity. By delivering these essential minerals directly to the tooth surface, biomimetic agents promote the formation of new hydroxyapatite crystals, the main mineral component of enamel, and help repair the demineralized areas. Additionally, biomimetic materials often have adhesive properties, allowing them to bond effectively to the tooth surface and provide long-lasting protection against further demineralization. Overall, the use of biomimetic agents in dental care represents an innovative approach to preventing and treating white spot lesions, offering patients a minimally invasive and effective solution for maintaining optimal oral health.

The treatment goal in the restoration of acquired palatal defects is to achieve normal function and appearance. Two categories of treatment are suggested: conventional prosthetic rehabilitation of a defect with an obturator prosthesis or surgical reconstruction of the defect. The obturator prosthesis continues to be the most common procedure for the rehabilitation of maxillectomy patients. Fabrication of obturator prostheses depends on the application of basic prosthodontic principles that are used in the treatment of patients without maxillary defects. Some principles must be modified because of the defect and the character and position of the remaining structures. The defect, in conjunction with the remaining structures, must be used to provide support, retention and stability of obturator prosthesis.

Since the return of multiparty politics in the Cameroonian political landscape in the 1990s, the people participate in elections to renew the mandate of their representatives both at the local and at the national level. The party in power the Cameroon People Democratic Movement (CPDM) has always come out with landslide victories in all the electoral consultations according to the official results from the electoral management bodies. However, the daily lives of the people are characterized by different forms of hardship ranging from socio-economic difficulties (unemployment, poverty, lack of basic social needs, and poor infrastructural development) to political challenges like corruption, bad governance, embezzlement of state funds and tribalism (greater autonomy in the two English speaking regions). This makes it difficult to corroborate the results of the elections and the daily lives claims of the people who continue to renew the mandate of the same representatives with the same political output. It is in this regard that we investigated on the motives behind the electoral results in Cameroon for the past 3 decades.

In this study the author examines the Hexagon fraud developed by Georgios L. Vousinas, which is a development of fraud triangle, diamond, and pentagon theories. Fraud Hexagon describes six factors that cause fraud, namely pressure, opportunity, rationalization, capability, arrogance, and collusion. This study also added a new variable, namely love of money as a moderation variable. This study used samples from Bank Bengkulu located in Bengkulu province using purpose sampling methods and data collection in the form of questionnaires using the Smart PLS 3.2.9 analysis tool. This book is intended for students, lecturers, or other researchers who want to conduct research on fraud, especially in banking. It is hoped that by reading this book, it can add insight and add literature for readers.
