Short Sketch About BookThis book of study reveals that twenty five isolates were recovered as phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) from rhizosphere soil of paddy plants from four different locations of paddy field in Alwarkurichi village of Tenkasi District. Phosphate solubilizing bacterial population ranged from 30-50 × 102 CFU/g in Pikovskayäs agar medium, 20-30 × 102 CFU/g in hydroxy apatite agar medium and 10-20 × 102 CFU/g in soil extract agar medium. Among the tested isolates, highest load of phosphate solubilizers were found as the best in solubilizing phosphate 102 dilutions with the drop in neutral pH in Pikovskayäs agar medium. The results indicated that the rhizosphere soils of the study area inhabit phosphate solubilizing bacteria with great potential to be used as the commercial production of phosphatase enzymes. This study examines the effect of herbicide, one-shot on phosphate solubilizing bacterial activities like phosphate solubilization by herbicide resistance pattern. Here, the selected herbicide, one-shot was applied at two different concentrations of 10 ppm and 50 ppm against the phosphate solubilizers of Micrococcus sp., Bacillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp.

ICDAS, the International Caries Detection and Assessment System, is a standardized method used by dental professionals to evaluate and categorize dental caries (tooth decay) based on its severity and extent. It utilizes a numerical coding system to describe the various stages of dental caries, from sound teeth with no visible caries (code 0) to severe cavitation with extensive tooth structure damage (code 6).There have been modifications and adaptations of the ICDAS system to enhance its clinical utility. These modifications often involve refinements in the codes or criteria for diagnosing caries, aiming to improve accuracy and consistency in dental caries assessment. These modifications can be tailored to specific clinical needs, making ICDAS a flexible tool in dental practice.This book is an attempt to provides a better understanding of this advanced system of caries classification.

The Pauli principle dictates how electrons can be located inside an atom along its orbitals. The models of micro-finance were evolved in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka etc. and were adopted in India too. Financing through SHG¿s has been considered instrumental in people¿s empowerment, mobilizing thrift and extending credit. The concept of micro-finance in India was introduced sometimes in 1985, however, since 1996 it was widely accepted and implemented.

The leaf spot disease of onion caused by Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissler is the most serious one. The disease causes extensive damage to bulbs as well as seed crop. In view of the destructive nature of leaf spot of onion, the present investigation was planned to find out the effective disease management practices. Potato dextrose agar and host leaf decoction agar medium proved the best for growth and spore production by the fungus followed by oat meal agar, Czapeck¿s (Dox) agar and Richards¿ agar medium. Neem leaf and dhatura showed the maximum fungal growth inhibition and sporulation. While Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride to were proved to be the best antagonist against the pathogen. In vitro screenings Hexaconazole (Contaf 5 EC) was found the most effective and inhibited cent per cent growth of A. alternata even at 500 ppm concentration. Under field condition the minimum disease was recorded in foliar application of Hexaconazole (0.05 %).

This book proposed the creation of a secret key that acts as a roadmap for the embedding process and governs both the selection of hiding locations within the image and the amount of data concealed in each location. Two different approaches were used to generate this key, the first uses Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSRs), and the second uses a chaotic dynamic system. Furthermore, the randomness of the generated key was checked using the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) tests to verify the randomness of the key.

India is a vast country with diversified agro-climatic conditions. Livestock rearing ensures maximum employment and there by an important source of income to rural population. Dairy farming is an important subsidiary agricultural activity in Gujarat and even a main source of income and employment generation in many parts of North Gujarat. The varying size and varying characteristics of dairy farmers have problems of varying nature. Many factors influence the patterns of livestock farming and its profitability. Looking to the present scenario, it is considered worth essential to ¿work out¿ profitability of the dairy farmers in dairy farming and factors associated with profitability. The present study was conducted in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha andGandhinagar district of North Gujarat. Two talukas were randomly selected from each selected district. From each selected taluka, villages were selected at random and from each selected village, 10 respondents were selected by random method, thus making a list of total 180 dairy farmers for data collection. The research study was under taken with broad objective to assess the profitability of milk production of dairy farmers in dairy farming.

A simple green combustion synthesis route was used to synthesize the CeO2 NPs using T. I. fruit extract as fuel. The structural, optical and catalytic properties of as-formed as well as calcined CeO2 NPs were studied in detail. From PXRD patterns confirmed the cubic phase of prepared CeO2 NPs. The effect of fuel on the crystallite size, energy band gap and PL properties were studied in detail. The prepared CeO2 NPs were agglomerated in nature with large number of surface voids were observed from the scanning electron microscope. The particle size was estimate from TEM results and found to be in the range of 5- 40 nm which was in good agreement with the PXRD results. From the chromaticity diagrams it was noticed that a blue color emission from the prepared samples. Further, modified electrodes by CeO2 NPs exhibits enhanced electrochemical sensing properties and hence can be used to fabricate the electrochemical sensing devices. The CeO2 NPs also showed good photocatalytic activity with respect to variation in pH and catalytic load. The above all results of CeO2 were fruitful in the fabrication of display devices, electrochemical sensing devices as well as a good Photocatalyst.

Low-chill apple varieties have demonstrated their adaptability to warm climates in tropical and subtropical regions of India, particularly within the latitudinal range of 15° to 30° north of the equator. This encompasses the North Indian plains, the Gangetic basins, significant portions of eastern states, and the Eastern and Western Ghats, including the Nilgiri region. Notably, a new low-chill apple cultivar "HRMN-99," developed by Hariman Sharma from Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh and officially registered under the PPVFRA Act (Protection of Plant Variety and Farmers Rights Act) in his name during 2021, has gained prominence. While conventional apples normally develop improper colour and fungal spots on their surfaces in the event of excessive rain or fog during the fruit maturity period, this new variety is resistant to scab disease. Due to its higher sugar-acid ratio, attractive colour, and higher self-life, this variety overcomes several demerits of the low-chilling apple varieties. This variety is resistant to scab disease.

Minerals continue to play a notable role in infrastructural development. Their harnessing involves applying exploration methods that are begged on prior geological knowledge and practical concepts. The geological knowledge is preliminarily learned from field geological mapping which can then be followed by applying investigations and analyses that involve methods such as geophysical survey, geochemical analytical techniques or drilling methods, or at times a combination of the methods so as to unravel the envisaged details. Indeed, mineral mapping process begins with the analysis of historical information, geological mapping, field observations and collection of field samples for further investigations under laboratory conditions. Such investigations were undertaken for Ainamoi Area, Kericho County in Kenya. The investigations resulted to identification of anomalies that have substantial bauxite mineralization as geochemical and lab results obtained showed. The study investigated the economic potential of bauxite mineral deposits (Aluminum ore) with respect to concentration per acre of land, depth and/or height of the resource.
