When Faith is Enough by Fern Willner is the story of a missionary wife and mother of seven, living in the wilds of Africa with her husband and family before the days of modern medicine and Internet communications. The family must rely on God and God alone - when money runs out, children are feverish with malaria and their African neighbors bring them seemingly insurmountable problems. Fern and her family learn to trust God at a new level and to depend on Jesus to accomplish more than they could have imagined possible. This book is for anyone who needs fresh faith and fresh hope. The stories contained in each chapter illustrate the essential principles of truly living by faith. Readers cannot help but be inspired and encouraged to apply these principles of faith in the many challenges of life. Author Fern C. Willner graduated from both Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri and Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, Rhode Island. At Zion she met her future husband, Rev. Charles Willner, with whom she went on to share a life of ministry and adventure, along with their seven children. She felt called to write When Faith is Enough to share the many principles of faith that she experienced throughout her life and to encourage people to know that God is able to meet their every need in every situation. Fern went to be with the Lord in 2002 and this book seeks to keep her vibrant testimony alive.

A thought-provoking study of all the pagan influences which permeate Christianity and of which most adherents of that religion know nothing. Written by a church sabbath day reformer and theologian at Alfred University, New York, this work delves into the origins of the practices of modern Christianity, many of which will astound the reader. While the adoption of the pagan festivals of the year-end Yule ("Christmas") and of the Spring fertility rite of Ostara ("Easter") are well-known, this work reveals that almost all of the rituals and even belief systems as practised by modern Christian churches are pagan in origin. The author shows how early Christian antisemitism led many of the first originators of that religion to reject many of Christianity's founding principles, which were based firmly on older Jewish concepts and religious rules. This, he shows, led to a reinterpretation and revision of much of the original theological framework by pagan-influenced Gnostics. Then he showed how this initial disruption of the founding principles of Christianity opened the doors to a flood of pagan practices which were absorbed into the rituals of the church. These included baptism, the use of "holy water" (the latter two, the author shows, come directly from Indian, Egyptian and Northern European mythology), the very idea of "church buildings," the layout and format of all church services, the items used in church rituals (such as the communion cup and others), candles, lights, the clothing worn by religious figures, child-naming ceremonies, Sunday observance, the "mother and child" symbolism of Mary and Jesus; the universally-used "Chi-ro" symbol, and even the symbol of the cross itself. A riveting book for believers and non-believers alike, and essential reading for anyone interested in the origin and development of Christianity.

Anyone who successfully gets a new business off the ground has energy, vision and determination. However, even the most successful entrepreneurs can come unstuck when these start to run out. The clarity at the start begins to fade, the benefits which you were looking forward to remain just out of reach, and you begin to feel you're in a rut. Don't worry! This is normal. What you need is a refresher course on why you first went into business, some help to assess how far you have progressed, and most of all some tips for redrawing the map and getting your business (and you) fully recharged, refocused, moving forwards and achieving even greater things. This book is not a complete 'how to run a business' guide. You have already demonstrated many important qualities by getting this far. You also know more about your business than you probably realise, and with my help you will revise this latent knowledge and reinforce it. In the book we cover the essentials, from having a clear business vision to effective time management, from marketing to team building. To help you reflect on the topics and increase your learning, we use a fictional story of someone in a similar position to your own who is getting a little extra help from a business coach. Alongside this you will find focused explanations, reference checklists and even some practical exercises that you can do right away as you finish each chapter. Finally, because you may feel more than competent in some areas but less so in others, the chapter titles give you a clear indication of the topics, and the Chapter Checklist at the end of the book is a simple reference guide to get you exactly where in the book you want to be. I wish best wishes for your learning and professional development.

The year is 2085. The world has reached the end of the evolutionary continuum. In this post-evolutionary world, truth and conscience are expendable. In the atheist-dominated world, right and wrong are dictated not by God or His holy books, but by an overreaching World Government Organization. The WGO, as it is popularly known, soon meets its match in, of all places, Dukyaria, a heavily-indebted third-world country, a country brought to heel by corruption and ethno-religious antagonism. Dealing with its Nemesis in Dukyaria of course demands that the WGO play four characters against one another-the moderate Muslim cleric (Salim Kamil), the terrorist Homo Haram leader (Abu Danja Mamba), the Catholic Reverend Father (Basil Okoye), and the business-savvy head of the Abounding Grace Ministries (Pastor Emmanuel Kalu). It is up to Kamil and Okoye to get the four points of the Dukyarian rectangle to stop antagonizing each other and, instead, team up to upend the WGO's plans. The question is how?
