The Writers in the Schools (WITS) program provides creative writing opportunities and instruction to Lane County students. Through National Author Visits, No-School Creative Camps, Summer Creative Writing Camps, and the Young Writers Fiction Contest, students have the opportunity to learn their craft and engage with other writers.

An anthology from Wordcrafters in Eugene Writers in the Schools program. Fiction Fantastic-a project of Wordcrafters' Writers in the Schools youth programming-is one of the few opportunities for students in Lane County, Oregon, to showcase their writing, learn their craft, and engage with other writers.

Wordcrafters is pleased to present the winners of the 2020 Fiction Fantastic contest in this anthology. The creativity and use of plot and characterization in the stories dazzled our judges.
