The United Nations Disarmament Yearbook, Volume 46 (Part I): 2021 is a compilation of the resolutions and decisions of the 76th session of the General Assembly, the voting patterns in the General Assembly and the First Committee, lead sponsors, sponsors and co-sponsors, references to First Committee report and dates of adoption.

This revised fourth edition of the publication, the so-called Blue Book, continues providing precise and updated information on the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) serviced by the UNECE Sustainable Transport Division: on its historical background, its administrative and legal framework with a user's guide, and the three international UN Agreements administered by the World Forum. Note: The fourth edition of the Blue Book had been published in 2019.

The Sustainable Smart City Profiles of Ålesund, Asker, Bærum, Rana, and Trondheim; Norway; were developed based on the evaluation of the cities' performance against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Smart and Sustainable Cities (SSC). The cities' profiles include an analysis of the outcomes of the KPI evaluations; information on the cities' policies, programmes, projects, and partnerships that accelerate cities' progress towards achieving the SDGs; and policy recommendations for city actions to improve the cities' performance.

The publication assesses progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the UNECE region (Europe, Noth America, and Central Asia) relying on most recent internationally available data and offers stories on how regional and country-level actions relate to sustainable development outcomes. The progress assessment identifies the targets on which the region is on track, where progress needs to accelerate, and where course has to be reversed. Comparison with the previous assessment brings out the impact of the pandemic on the progress towards SDGs. A closer look is taken at gender issues that cut across many Sustainable Development Goals.

This book serves as a directory of the Permanent Missions to the United Nations in New York, as well as a listing of their diplomatic personnel. It also includes information on Observer Offices, Specialized Agencies, and other UN organs and bodies.
