Bumble Frog was lonely. The other frogs in the pond would not play with him because he was 'different.' They laughed at him and called him names. But when Peter, a human boy who is also 'different, ' reaches out to help Bumble, both of their lives are changed, forever. Bumble Frog is a story of building friendships, and bonding. It is a feel good story for children from seven to ten years of age, although adults, as well as others, seem to enjoy this heartwarming story. It is a positive tale that is encouraging for those who feel different.

Seven-year-old Maya has lost her best friend, her Nana. When Nana's ashes are strew in the ocean, where Papa's ashes had been strewn, Maya sees a large blue dolphin who seems to be calling to someone, or something. Maya is convinced that this is her Papa coming to take Nana home with him. Although he parents try to tell her how impossible this is, nothing can shake her faith. Maya is the story of a child dealing with the loss of a family member. This story is a chapter book, primarily for the seven to ten year old, but is enjoyed by 'children' of all ages.

Book Three in THE GIFT series. The one thing Sure-shot wants more than anything in the world is a history, to know his roots, his paternal grandparents. When he is mistaken for another, and kidnapped, Sure-shot is certain he is about to die. However, when he discovers his kidnapper is in reality the grandfather he has always wanted, but never knew, his joy knows no bounds. When he is rescued, and taken home, he is torn between wanting to stay with his family and friends, or returning to his paternal grandfather, whom he believes may die without him.

Elizabeth Williams was a good writer, however, she lacked the imagination needed to become a successful author. One day, she happened upon an unusual antique store, where she found a beautifully ornate, Peruvian game table, and fell in love, but it was not for sale. "The table must choose its owner," the proprietor tells her. And she became 'the chosen.' When the table is delivered to her apartment, it becomes her 'partner', and she is able to go on many a fantastic (sometimes frightening) adventure from which her books are written. But the table, she calls Mr. Beau, has an unnatural attraction for her, and when she seems to be entertaining thoughts of a human man-friend, it becomes jealous, and determines to become her only love. "The Table" is a paranormal novel bordering on light horror. It is a fun read and entertaining for the ones who just like to be a little bit scared. Wah-ha- ha.
