307,95 kr. Demand of energy, consumption of fossile fuel and enviornment pollution are related to each others. if the demand of energy increases then fossile fuels consumption are also increased, and if the fossile fuels consumption are increased then the environment pollution is also increased, so enhancement of alterantive fuels are needed. Therefore, bio-fuel will play very vital role in near future. Bio-fuel, produced as vegetable oils from plants, burning leads to a complete recyclable carbon dioxide, whcih reduces green house effect. Biodesel has a higher centane number than petroleum diesel fuel, no sulphur, no aromatics, and contains O2 (10-11% by wt.) and therefore reduces emission of CO, HC, PM, and SOx in exhaust gas as compared with diesel fuel and while nitrogen oxides (NOx) slightly increased. In this present combustion study, Thumba oil blend (20% TO + 80% diesel), thumba biodiesel blend (20% TB + 80% diesel) with diesel, vapours of SVO and biogas was used in CI engine. Combustion characteristics were obtained at the optimized compression ratio. In additin to this, during present study , LPG operated appliances were also converted into biogas operated appliances.

337,95 kr. Solar energy has enormous potential to serve for present energy demand of the world. Photovoltaic is an elegant process of converting the sun energy into electricity. Photovoltaic cells become matchless in transforming the sunshine into electrical energy with no air and noise pollutions. In this work an effort had been made for estimating the effects of dust addition and ambient temperature on conversion efficiency of a 62 KWp Rooftop SPV module. The performance has been evaluated by use of Capacity Utilization Factor and Performance Ratio parameters. This work estimating the decrease in the output power and conversion efficiency as a function of dust accumulation & ambient temperature. A multivariate linear regressions (MLR) model is established to estimate the system's output performance with the consideration of conversion efficiency as the dependent variable and ambient temperature and dust exposure day as the independent variables. It was employed in calculating losses in system efficiency due to dust accumulation. The average efficiency reductions due to dust is 0.872%/day, energy loss is 9.935 kWh/m-sq using MLR model.

2.181,95 kr. This book will be beneficial for students, researchers and scientists working in the field of molecular dynamics simulation. In this book, Materials Studio software developed by Accelrys, a software company headquartered in the United States, has been used for performing the simulations and analysis. The source codes written in the book can be used by any one for modeling. The book starts with an introduction to molecular dynamics. Then various molecular dynamics methods will be discussed in detail. As the book progresses, various case studies related to modeling of composites at nano level will be discussed. The properties predicted are mechanical, thermal, optical and electrical. The concept of perl scripting has also been discussed in detail. Lastly the applications of molecular dynamics in various fields of engineering and technology will be discussed. The nanocomposite materials discussed in this book include polymer-matrix composites. The reinforcements used are carbon nanotubes, graphene, nanoparticles and nanofibers.
