Five Stars - IR Verdict: THE ARROWS OF ISLAM is just what a mystery/espionage novel should be - quick, action-packed and full of intrigue. Spencer Hawke's writing excels, especially during the book's many action sequences. The dialogue in the novel is both crisp and tense but also humorous at times making for a captivating read that should now be mentioned in the same breath as genre masters - Daniel Silva, Brad Thor and Tom Clancy.

5 Stars WELL WORTH YOUR TIME, ANOTHER FAST PACED PAGE TURNER By Steve on August 10, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase An engaging fast-paced, tightly-plotted, page turner well worth your time. Extremely enjoyable and enthusiastically recommended for your reading enjoyment. And, an interesting ethical dilemma ... is the lead character totally loyal to the United States or is he still spying on our government for Israel. Very few operatives have ever left the Mossad completely. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

America's newest secret weapon wasn't built in America, and now Agent Ari Cohen, former Mossad agent, must face his long-despised rival The Raven not only to stop a diabolical plot in human trafficking, but also to rescue his niece renee who has been kidnapped by child traffickers. Author Spencer Hawke is back with the third in the Ari Cohen Series, following the acclaimed success of The Arrows of Islam, IndieReader's 2014 Best Book honoree and The Swiss Conspiracy. The series follows Cohen, a plays-by-his-own-rules Mossad agent, who is pulled into a secret society created by the nation's founding fathers and sworn to protect the United States for more than 200 years. Critics say Hawke's five-star thrillers harken to the works of Silva, Thor and Clancy with a fast pace, sharp wit and intrigue at every turn. The characters are rich and alluring, and each novel leaves the reader waiting for more.

June 21, 2014 Mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls - Revealed by Spencer Hawke, is a historical fiction novel about one man's valiant efforts at protecting religious scrolls from the Romans. Something I love about the book is that it is not a linear story. You are given a bunch of different perspectives. Many of the perspectives are at different locations and time periods. As someone who has read a bit of the Bible, I enjoyed seeing the Biblical figures in the story (e.g. Lazarus). Crowe clearly did a lot of research and background reading while coming up with this story. That said, the fiction elements of this book, the characters and plot, are fresh and engaging. Crowe writes in a way that is descriptive yet flows well, so the book is a relatively quick read. Overall, a fun historical fiction that anyone who likes history and a good story will enjoy
