Weitere kleine Schriften, u.a. etwa »Das Sehen des Künstlers« (1919) oder »Der Künstler und die Psychoanalyse« (1924), machen manche im »Versuch über Ästhetik« nur angedeutete argumentative Zusammenhänge in einem breiteren Kontext verständlich.
