- Poems from the 1970's
78,95 kr. I wrote these poems in the 1970's when I was in my late twenties and early thirties. The first two sections, "Karrakatta" and "The Other Place," were written in Australia after I came here is 1974. The third section, "The Old Country," consists of poems written in Americain the years just before that. Karrakatta is the main cemetery in Perth, and our house was within a few metres of it. I spent many hours walking among the tombstones, thinking and writing. Some of the poems in "The Other Place" were published in Poetry Australia, which was then edited by Les Murray. "Snowfall in Oxfordshire" was published in Quadrant.
