Piero Rivolta (Rivolta - Barberi) è vincitore di premi letterari in USA, dove emigrò nel 1979 con la moglie Rachele ed i figli Marella e Renzo stabilendosi a Sarasota, Florida, attratto da un tipo di vita che premia la libertà d'azione e di pensiero. In questo modo lasciò la realtà Milanese dove era nato nel 1941, si era laureato in ingegneria e dove aveva lavorato in una famiglia di costruttori di veicoli e auto sportive, dedicandosi ad altre interessanti attività nel mondo.Piero ha sempre scritto, fin da giovanissimo, ispirato dal suo credo "La semplicità è la madre della creatività".I suoi libri di poesia e riflessioni di prosa che guardano al passato offro-no una visione del presente.Negli anni '60 ha scritto il suo primo libro di poesie, dopodiché il secondo è stato pubblicato in Italia nel 1999: "Just One Scent: The Resti s God".
