Lo scopo di questa ricerca è quello di esplorare l'eventuale ruolo della psicoterapia nel trattamento della schizofrenia all'interno dei servizi di salute mentale. In primo luogo, questo studio mira a comprendere la prospettiva dei partecipanti sul loro ruolo nella valutazione e nel processo di trattamento della schizofrenia. Questo studio cercherà di esplorare l'opinione dei professionisti sulla psicoterapia come forma di trattamento della schizofrenia. O objetivo desta investigação é explorar o lugar, caso exista, da psicoterapia no tratamento da esquizofrenia nos serviços de saúde mental. Em primeiro lugar, este estudo visa compreender a perspetiva dos participantes sobre o seu papel na avaliação e no processo de tratamento da esquizofrenia. Este estudo tentará explorar a opinião dos profissionais sobre a psicoterapia como forma de tratamento da esquizofrenia. Será analisada a compreensão dos profissionais de saúde sobre a experiência da esquizofrenia na perspetiva do doente. Por fim, este estudo procura compreender as razões subjacentes ao avanço ou à falta de avanço na utilização da psicoterapia no processo de tratamento de um diagnóstico de esquizofrenia. Esta investigação procura obter uma melhor compreensão das razões que estão por detrás da hesitação dos serviços de saúde mental em adotar plenamente a psicoterapia como forma de tratamento na recuperação do doente. Espera-se que as perspectivas dos profissionais de saúde mental forneçam uma visão aprofundada do processo de tratamento até à data e do futuro que a psicoterapia pode ter no processo de recuperação.

Ziel dieser Studie ist es, den Stellenwert der Psychotherapie bei der Behandlung von Schizophrenie in den psychiatrischen Diensten zu untersuchen. Erstens zielt diese Studie darauf ab, die Perspektive der Teilnehmer hinsichtlich ihrer Rolle bei der Bewertung und dem Prozess der Behandlung von Schizophrenie zu verstehen. In dieser Studie wird versucht, die Meinung der Fachkräfte zur Psychotherapie als Form der Behandlung von Schizophrenie zu untersuchen. The purpose of this research is to explore the place if any, of psychotherapy in the treatment of schizophrenia within the mental health services. Firstly, this study aims to understand the participant¿s perspective of their role in the assessment and process of treating schizophrenia. This study will attempt to explore the professional¿s opinion of psychotherapy as a form of treatment of schizophrenia. The health professionals understanding of the experience of schizophrenia from their patient¿s perspective will be examined. Finally, this study endeavours to understand the reasons behind the advancement or lack of advancement in the use of psychotherapy in the process of treating a diagnosis of schizophrenia. This research endeavours to gain greater insight into the reasons behind the mental health services' hesitation to fully embrace psychotherapy as a form of treatment in the patient's recovery. It is hoped that the mental health professionals perspectives will provide in-depth insight into the process of treatment thus far and the future psychotherapy may have in the process of recovery.
