A spoken word, vignette-structured play about existing softly in a damaged world. NOTE: This piece of writing is purposefully meant to be multidimensional. The first version is straight stanza style-like poetry, and the second version is how it was written to be staged live. Read this silently like a book, read it like beat poetry behind jazz music into a mic in your friend's garage, or stage it in a theater and create characters around the script. You may find stage directions written in brackets or a suggestion for a soundscape behind some of the poems. Early pieces of this work were first performed at Barnstorm Theater with the talented students of UCSC
