Romance and adventure ensue as the protagonist joins a centuries old quest. The co-feature is a portrait of a serial killer operating in the Portland metro area. How he came to be and his terrible actions are exposed in a gritty, somewhat unsettling tale of depravity and mayhem. In between are sixty-three flash stories that encompass multiple genres: sci-fi, love, revenge, and tales of small-town America, to name a few. The idea of entering the Kaleidoscope is that the variety of emotions and situations revealed allow for a wide range of readers to find something they enjoy. Adult language is employed where it fits the characterizations but isn't used as a replacement for proper verbiage in the majority of the pieces. The flash stories average less than a thousand words and are perfect for short attention spans or busy people unable to invest time in novels.
