This is my third book of poetry, and I think I've gotten a bit better at writing prose and maybe a bit more reflective. We live in challenging times with many impinging forces that will forever alter our world going forward. As we deal with such changes and challenges, I hope in these words of reflection you'll find some thought provoking meaning, as well as some humor and joy.

This is a book of poetry that addresses observations about what makes us different and what brings us together; about what is amazing in this world and yet what is tragic and inhumane; as well as our failures and successes. The poetry style is pleasing to read and is yet often peppered with deep meaning. There is an abundance of an older, lyrical style in modern poetic offerings. The author eschews vulgarity in all forms with a belief that there is enough of that in this world already.  Take some “me” time, and enjoy this wonderful book of poetry.

As a successful businessman, I honed skills at observation, evaluation and analysis, as well as strategy and planning. I have of late been applying these skills along with a sense of art to better represent the world, human nature and myself through poetry, using that other side of my brain. I think you'll enjoy the fun poems. You will react and feel the ones about the world and maybe see some of yourself in the poems about philosophy and myself. Robert Louis Stevenson said, "Wine is bottled poetry"-a beautiful thought. I hope you find that the poetry here goes great with a glass of wine … Cheers!
