Handwriting expert and Holocaust survivor, Jacob Bruno has his life take a fateful turn when asked to restrict testimony on a forgery case, yet swear an oath to God to tell the whole truth. Conflicted, the old graphologist takes on the haughty Judge Wellingham and pays a big price, fined $10,000 and put in jail for contempt of court. In covering this lightning rod case, Modern Times ace reporter, Rudy Styne, expects it to become a cover story, when out of nowhere, a nine-year-old up and coming ice skater and cover-girl darling, Jay Jay Martin, is kidnapped from her home in Bountiful Utah. With a hundred reporters flocking to the state, and Rudy's court story pushed to the back burner, Rudy requests to join the herd, particularly when it is revealed that there is a ransom note implicating the ice skater's father, corporate megastar, Skipper Martin. Who else would be best to compare the father's handwriting to the ransom note than Jacob Bruno? OUTSIDE READER REVIEWSI have read quite a number of novels but not many are both educational and entertaining as FATE LINE is. Thanks to the inclusion of graphologists, astrologers, palmists and scientists, I learned a lot about these fields.... The plote-line was so cleverly twisted and intrinsic that it was actually impossible for me to put the book down. Melchi Asuma FATE LINE by Marc J. Seifer, is an amazingly complex novel. The author masterfully interweaves many subplots, all of them enthralling and ultimately connected to each other. There are many things I loved about FATE LINE, but the characters are, probably, my favorite. Not a single one of them could be labeled as ordinary. You will meet graphologists, a palm reader, an art expert, a hypnotist and several other fascinating personalities. All of them are well-developed and even the backstories explain their behavior.... The plot is engaging from beginning to end, action-packed and full of twists and turns that will get the reader absolutely hooked. Lunastella Marc Seifer has constructed a dizzyingly complex tale which involves a love affair between palm reader Max Minkowski, and a young graphologist and Jacob Bruno protégé, Sarah Calloway. This story takes the reader to an incest cult in Utah, to a psychic troupe touring the Northeast and back to New York City where Jacob Bruno is involved in another forgery case that leads to manslaughter. Can Rudy Styne find the kidnapper or solve the murder? Will the hit man kill again or get off scot-free? Find out in FATE LINE: A Graphological Murder Mystery. SCIENCE / NEW THOUGHT "Marc Seifer has made the difficult easy to understand as he covers such broad topics as cosmological coincidences, new theories on gravity, and higher states of consciousness. This book generates fresh ideas on the link between thoughts, the physical universe, and the speed of light. Transcending the Speed of Light is a bold new adventure into the exciting world of consciousness exploration." --Uri Geller, paranormalist "I highly recommend this book to any and all readers who are seriously interested in the puzzling problem of the nature of mind and consciousness. I most enthusiastically endorse Marc's work." --Col. Tom Bearden (retired), author of Excalibur Briefing Since the introduction of Descartes' dualism in the seventeenth century, the mind and the physical world have been viewed as disconnected entities. Yet qualities of mind such as awareness, purposeful action, organization, design, and even decision making are present within the structure of matter and within the dimensions of space and time. The spacetime continuum of scientists generally ignores the realm of the mind, though phenomena such as imaginary numbers, used by Einstein to combine space with time, are concepts that exist only in the mind. Marc Seifer contends that the inadequacy of four-dimensional models to account for our experience of mental phenomena points to the consciousness of the mind as a higher organizing principle, a fifth dimension where thoughts are as real and quantifiable as our familiar physical world. He shows that because thought enables us to move backward and forward through time--reflecting on the past and making plans for the future--this fifth dimension of mind breaks the laws of relativity, thereby transcending the speed of light. His extensive study of this fifth dimension ranges from relativity and ether theory to precognition, telepathy, and synchronicity, all from the perspective of the conscious universe. MARC J. SEIFER, Ph.D., teaches psychology at Roger Williams University. He has studied under Bruno Bettelheim, Herbert Meltzer, and Stanley Krippner and is the author of several books, including Inward Journey: From Freud to Gurdjieff and the acclaimed Wizard: The Life & Times of Nikola Tesla. He lives in Rhode Island.

In this insightful and revelatory new book, the author of the highly acclaimed, award-winning international bestseller Wizard: The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla delves deeper into the groundbreaking ideas and astonishing mind of one of the greatest geniuses of modern times. The culmination of more than four decades of research, Tesla: Wizard at War explores the historical impact of Tesla’s particle beam weapon and other brilliant work—and how it continues to shape global military technology and diplomatic strategies even today."In a few years hence, it will be possible for nations to fight without armies, ships or guns, by weapons far more terrible to the destructive action and range of which there is virtually no limit. Any city at any distance whatsoever from the enemy can be destroyed by him and no power on Earth can stop him from doing so." —Nikola Tesla, circa 1925Drawing on forty years of research and a treasure trove of new information, Tesla: Wizard at War provides a comprehensive view of Tesla''s discoveries, which continue to influence today''s military technology and diplomatic strategies. One of the world''s leading Tesla experts, Marc J. Seifer offers new insight into the brilliant scientist''s particle beam weapon (a.k.a. the "Death Ray") and explores his military negotiations with pivotal historical figures—including his links to Joseph Stalin, Vannevar Bush, General Andrew McNaughton, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. From Tesla''s role in the origins of Star Wars technology and his dynamic theory of gravity to the real purpose behind the iconic tower at Wardenclyffe, this is an eye-opening account of Tesla''s projects, passions, and ambitions—and an illuminating, important study of one of history''s most intriguing figures.
