The Muslims, since the destruction of their Khilafah in the year 1924, at the hands of the disbelievers and their agents, have lived and continue to live a life of divisions, instability, weakness and insignificance. So after they were the leaders of the world they have become led and after having been one Ummah to the exclusion of all people they have now become divided peoples separated by manufactured borders that lie between them. They are ruled by man-made systems and their weak entities, that number more than fifty, do not benefit them or take them away from being considered part of the third world and they are helpless before the disbelievers if they wish to usurp and take away parts of their lands like they have done in Palestine amongst other lands. They have experimented with and been experimented upon with thoughts and man-made systems which have been taken from both the East and the West.The Tareeqah (Methodology) to resume the Islamic way of life must be taken from Islam alone because it is a complete and comprehensive ideology containing the Fikrah (thought) and the Tareeqah (method). Indeed it is a thought and a method and its method must be of the same type and kind as its thought. For this reason it is not permitted for those working in the Da'wah, to be diverted by even a hairs breadth away from the method because Allah (swt) has made this method Fard (obligatory). It is the Method that the Messenger of Allah (saw) proceeded upon until he established the Islamic State in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, the Islamic State that lasted for over 1300 years before it was destroyed at the hands of the disbelievers.

Many modern books have been written in this subject area in both Arabic and English attempting to present the subject Of Usul ul Fiqh to the student of Islamic sciences. However, the style of the author, Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Abdullah, (May Allah preserve him) is distinguished from others in terms of his ability to present the subject in a very well organised and well-explained easy manner that enables the reader to absorb this subject area. Even though this is not the most advanced book ever to be written in the subject area of Usul ul-Fiqh but it explains clearly all of the main areas related to this important Islamic science. Its lucid and simple English translation makes it the best book available on the subject in English Language.

In the past 2 centuries many Islamic groups and political parties were established with the aim of calling towards Islam. They all claimed to be following the Messenger of Allah (saw), his Seerah and his Sunnah whilst at the same time each of them would bring an evidence in an attempt to prove the validity of the particular direction and view that they had adopted, whether this was an incident that happened, and action that the Messenger (saw) undertook, a Hadith that he spoke or a matter that he was silent over.This book is aimed at clarifying and setting the path for the Islamic groups and political parties, it is aimed at showing the reader how the Prophet (saw) carried the dawah. This book focuses on the origins of nationalism in the Muslim world. Nationalism did not arise in the Muslim world naturally, nor did it came about in response to any hardships faced by the people, nor due to the frustration they felt when Europe started to dominate the world after the industrial revolution. Rather, nationalism was implanted in the minds of the Muslims through a well thought out scheme by the European powers, after their failure to destroy the Islamic State by force.The book also presents the Islamic verdict on nationalism and practical steps that can be taken to eradicate the disease of nationalism from the Muslim Ummah so as to restore it back to its former glory.

The behavioural disposition (nafsiyyah) is the method for satisfying man's instincts and organic needs i.e. the manner in which they are satisfied according to a standard which man believes in and trusts. When the satisfaction is based on the Islamic Aqidah then he has an Islamic disposition, if not he has a disposition other than the Islamic behavioural disposition.If a person has one standard for the mentality and behavioural disposition, then his personality becomes distinctive and regulated. If the Islamic 'Aqidah was the basis of his mentality and behavioural disposition, his personality would be Islamic. Mankind progresses through thought. The most important factor affecting our actions in life is the thoughts we believe in and carry. Without thought man drifts aimlessly from situation to situation, waiting for things to happen, rather than initiating action and progressing.Man needs to take a comprehensive view of what we are, and how we should fit into the scheme of life in its entirety. Over the years there has been a major discussion among students of knowledge and Fuqahaa about the subject of Khabr Ahaad whether it establishes 'Ilm i.e definite knowledge or not and thereby the question if it can be accepted in the 'Aqaaid. Scholars who claim that the khabr ahaad establishes 'Ilm and can be accepted in 'Aqaaid say that only the Jahmiyah, Mu'tazilah, Jabriyyah and Khawaarij differ in regards to this subject. The Author of this book considers those carrying this view as people who have gone away from the principles of Usool and has written this book as a detailed refutation about their views explaining why their viewpoint is not based on daleel (evidences) from the Quran, Sunnah and Ijma'a As Sahabaah to support it.

Since the events of 9/11 and 7/7, Islam and Muslims have increasingly been on the receiving end of a barrage of criticism. One of the many graces which Allah (swt) has bestowed upon the generous Muslim Ummah is that He (swt) has made the whole Earth pure, so that it serves as a mosque and a grand mihrab, where Allah (swt) is worshipped in every single corner of it, whether in the mosques, in the markets, in the streets, or at schools and universities, in the houses, at the frontiers and so on.Therefore, the whole earth is a mosque and this is indicated by the hadith reported by Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Jabir ibn 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, 'I have been granted five things which were not granted to any other prophet before me: I have gained victory with awe from the period of one month (before the battle); the Earth has been made sacred and pure and a mosque for me, so whenever the time of prayer comes for anyone of you, he should pray wherever he is; the spoils of war have been made lawful for me and these were never made lawful to anyone before; I have been granted shafa'a (intercession on the Day of Judgement); and every Prophet was sent particularly to his own people, whereas 1 have been sent to the whole of mankind."

The path to achieve revival and resume the Islamic way of life is a path adorned with struggles and challenges at all stages. If he was to do that then the Dunya would become insignificant in front of his eyes, the affair of the disbelievers would be diminished before him and the difficult matters would become easier. The concept of As-Sababiyah (causality) is from the fundamental concepts of the Muslims and which must remain clear to them. That is because their message in life is a message of action and because they live in the life for the sake of a specific objective. As-Sababiyah is from the Islamic concepts that connects to the Muslim's daily conduct in the case where the accomplishment of an action from amongst his daily actions does not occur without observing this Qaa'idah (principle), the Qaa'idah of As-Sababiyah. When the early Muslims from the era of the Sahaabah, the Taabi'een, the Taabi'ee At-Taabi'een and those who followed from the generation of Nahdah (revival) comprehended the concept of As-Sababiyah, when they comprehended it completely and understood it in a sound and crystallised manner, and practised their understanding in their behaviours and conducts they accomplished actions that resembled miracles if we were to compare them to our current time. That is because they carried Islaam, spread its Da'wah and opened up lands across the corners of the earth in the fasted time that history has known for a nation from amongst its nations that have passed. That was at a time when the means of communication and transportation were the camel in the best of circumstances.

The first attempts at reforming Islam resulted in the abolition of the Khilafah and the end of nearly fourteen centuries of Islamic rule. However with less then a century passing from this historical event Muslims have returned to Islam and every day edge closer to the re-establishment of the Khilafah. It is for this reason that the West has once again initiated plans to change Islam, since any revival of Islam will naturally end in the establishment of the Khilafah which represents an alternative system of governance that would then challenge the dominance of capitalism in the world.The battle for hearts and minds is now fully underway.
