He is married to Karen and together they have parented six children, now ages 8 to 26. The Thomas' are active in local, national and international ministries, particularly those caring for orphaned children. Dr. Thomas has worked extensively with the homeschooling community and is an enthusiastic supporter of homeschooling and other alternative education models for children. Currently, most of his energy is spent writing to encouraging people to assume and maintain personal responsibility for their health, including their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
