"My name is Caleb Vance.""Well, Mr. Vance, it is nice to put a name with a face." Nurse Nancy smiled. "My name is Nancy, and I am sweet Leah's nurse." After she and Caleb exchanged nice to meet you's, smiles, and hand-shakes, Nancy led him to Leah's hospital room."How is she doing today?""She is emotional and very tired." Nurse Nancy replied. "She had a tough chemo session this morning."Before Caleb could react to this, Nancy was opening Leah's door just a crack and said, "Birthday girl, you have a visitor."

Ever since sixth grade, my lifelong best friends, Corinne, Jesse, Brett, and I have attended The Allen-ton School, a 6-12th grade school for students with learning dis-abilities. During those years, the four of us have always been the only ones in our gradu-ating class! For an entire year, it was my lifelong best friends who made up the class. This was due to the fact that I had been in the hospital from May 2019-May 2020 battling an aggress-ive form of Leukem-ia. Three months later, I am happy to tell you that I am cancer free, and am able to return to school! Due to the fact that the four of us are the most popular kids in school, due to our big and selfless hearts, and that we are friends with every-one, I am even more excited about finally return-ing to school!

I hate this part of the summer. I mean, I truly hate it with a passion. It is the part where, after having an awesome summer with them, I have to say goodbye to my Dad, my best friend, Lilliana, and my boyfriend, Logan. Saying goodbye to them at the end of each summer and Christmas vacation is extremely hard for me to do. Due to the fact that I live in Denver, Colorado, with my Mom, I only get to see my Dad, Lilliana, and Logan twice a year. I wish more than anything that I could see them more.

This is not how it was supposed to go, I thought as I laced up tennis shoes. My friends weren't supposed to abandon me. It was the last game before Christmas break began, and my mind was anywhere else but. As a matter of fact, it's been that way since the beginning of November. Before I get into that, however, let me fill you in on how it all began. On the last week of school, tryouts for the Assistant Captain of the Varsity girl's A basketball team had been held. Due to the fact that only seniors could be the captain of their teams, only juniors could try out for Asst. Captain. With this said, my best friends, Alyssa Lancaster and Dana Davis, tried out. In the end, it was our friend, Amy Alden who ended up becoming the Assistant Captain. However, Coach Penny declared me as the substitute Assistant Captain. This meant that if Amy could not fulfill her captain duties any longer, than I would take her place. In November, that is exactly what I had to do. Due to the fact that Amy had been drinking on school grounds, she had been expelled and kicked off the team. For a little while, my best friends had been happy for me. Much too soon, however, things began to change for the worse. Soon enough, Alyssa and Dana had randomly quit the team. They had also started ditching me and ignoring my phone calls, and ignoring me completely at school. Even my best guy friend, crush and Alyssa's twin brother, Aaron, started doing the same thing, too. However, all of those things hurt way less than when they told me that they didn't want to be friends with me anymore. This had happened over Thanksgiving break.Even to this day, I still don't know why Alyssa, Dana, and Aaron ditched me. After all, the fact that I had become Asst. Captain didn't change me. It didn't go to my head. On a different note, being the most popular girl in the junior class and having many friends definitely came in handy. I had many friends to keep me company. I even hung out with some friends from my church and did some volunteering. Pulling my long brown hair into a ponytail, I took a deep breath and followed the rest of the team onto the gym floor. After all, we had the Regional Championship to win.

Once Mr. and Mrs. Richter had gotten home, Rowan had decided to tell them everything about what had happened to Robyn tonight. As Rowan told her parents about the public breakup, the ending of the friendships, and about Robyn screaming and crying into her pillow out of pain, fresh tears filled Rowan's eyes again. That horrible image of her sister crying and screaming out in pain would be in Rowan's mind for quite a while.

Today is my first day at the Harwood School. Am I nervous? A little. Am I excited? Most definitely. Today is the start of a new chapter in my life, school wise, and I am excited. After all, it beats what I have been through before.

Today are my best friend's eighteenth birthdays. That's right! Kent, Christian and Brooke turned 18 today! While I gave Brooke a dainty silver necklace with sun charm, I gave Kent a cool t-shirt. For Christian, however, he didn't want anything materialistic from me for his birthday. For his birthday, Christian wants me to sing a duet with him at dinner tonight. Touched and honored at his request, I said I would be happy and honored to.

Tonight was Rawlinson Christian Academy's back to school dance for the high schoolers.Due to the fact that each graduating class was made up of 6-15 people (Annyce and her best friends were the only ones that made up their graduating class. They are also the smallest graduating class in RCA history), the attendance was going to be small. As she and Ansel pulled into the RCA parking lot, Annyce could not help but feel excited! After all, a good time was definitely in the near future!

It is a known fact that the last day of school is one of the most exciting days ever. School is out and summer is so in . For fourteen-year-old Meredith Nash however, that is far from what the day brings. At the end of the school day, her supposed best friends, Max and Marissa, tell her that their friendship is over. Due to the fact that Meredith did not see this coming, she is completely blind sided and hurt, At this point, the only thing making her feel better is the big move to Orlando that is coming up in June. At around 8:15 AM, my plane touched down at Albuquerque International Sunport in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. At 8:25 AM, I was greeted with hugs, hellos, kisses, and large beautiful balloons from my Mom, Dad, and older sister, Molly in the baggage claim. Fifty minutes later, all of us are sitting in a booth at IHOP (My favorite sit down restaurant of all time), and about to enjoy a good breakfast! "Hi, guys, welcome to I.." The waitress began, meeting her eyes with mine. "Oh my gosh, you are Mariah Jacobs.""Yes, Ma'am." I smiled. "What's your name?""Jenny." The waitress smiled back."It's nice to meet you, Jenny.""It's nice to meet you, too." Taking out her pen and note pad, Jenny asked, "What may I get you today?""I will take cupcake pancakes and sausage please, as well as a Coca-Cola.""Yes, Ma'am!" Jenny replied, writing down my order.After taking all of our drink and food orders, Jenny walked away. "I could not have handled that better if I were in your shoes, sister." Molly said, when Jenny was out of earshot. "That was impressive."

"It is so great to see you, and have you hear for the week with us!" Meredith exclaimed, taking a bite of her PB &J. "We miss you being in Dallas!""We sure do!" Leona chimed. "How are things in Albuquerque and in the modeling world?""They are good, thanks." I replied. "Even though I like it in New Mexico, I liked living in Dallas more." This was very true. Even though I liked living in New Mexico, it did not compare to when I lived in Dallas. With this said, it made being at camp with my best friend and longtime good friends from Dallas that more special."On a different note, girl, have you seen Derek yet?" Meredith wanted to know. "He has been talking about you non-stop, and I know that he would love to see you!""That I would." A gentle, male voice said from behind me.Smiling, standing up from my seat, and turning around to face my best friend and secret love interest, I wrapped my arms around Derek. Immediately, he wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"Well, I don't love you." Vance, my best friend and long time secret love interest said over the phone. "You are a worth-less piece of filth who has no talent, at all."Anger and pain filling my heart, and tears filling my eyes, I said, "I under-stand if you don't feel the same way about me, but you don't have to go as far as to jab me with hurtful names and words."Taking a deep breath, I conti-nued, "If us not being best friends with me anymore is some-thing you want, than I will grant you your wish."Before Vance had a chance to say anything more, I hung up the phone, and began to cry.

As Mom, Dad, and I made our way from Orlando Inter-national Airport to our extra large beach house in Henley Beach, The events of Wednesday played in my head once more. At one point, my verbally, emotion-ally, and psycho-logically abusive boyfriend and I are getting into a verbal fight. Moments later, he is calling me a bad name, and saying that I wasn't good enough. Deciding that I had had enough, I punched him in the face, told him that we were through, and left his house immediate-ly. Even though I know I did the right thing by leaving my abusive boyfriend of two years, it hurts so bad. With this said, I am thankful for the annual summer two month stay here at Henley Beach with my parents, lifelong good friend, Preston, and his wonderful parents. After all, I have a good feeling that this trip is exactly what I need right now.

All season long, the Braxton Bears Varsity volleyball team had been undefeated. This glory had led us to being invited to compete at the 2018 Volleyball State Championships this year. If we win, the volley-ball team and I will received individual trophies, a large trophy, and $10,000 for our school. With this said, I hope that the team and I win today. After all, winning todaywould it mean a perfect season for the volleyball team and me.

Besides wanting to dress up for a nice dinner with Frankie, there was another reason that he, Mae, and Kirk had made a certain dress code for tonight. Unbeknownst to Frankie, a surprise party awaited Frankie after dinner. Her parents were the ones throwing it for her. Due to the many good friends that Frankie, her boyfriend, and best friends had, the guest list for the party was huge.Continuing to smile, Alex shared a knowing smile with Mae and Kirk. After all, this surprise was one that Frankie did not see coming.

Today is my eighteenth birthday, and I had decided that I wanted a pool party this year. For my party, I had picked out a black, cut out, one piece bathing suit. Even though it was beyond beautiful, it was also very sexy. In fact, it was one of the sexiest things that I had ever owned.Deciding that my best friend was correct, I continued to hang out and party with my bestie and my guests.

Even though I am excited about the big turn out, it is not the only reason why I am excited. Besides being extremely stoked about my birthday tomorrow, I am even more excited about being home. Even though the tour was amazing and fun, I missed my Mom, best friend, and boyfriend. I truly missed them greatly. In a little under an hour, I will finally be reunited with them. That makes me excited more than anything!

On a different note, there is a part of me that wishes that I was going to Homecoming tonight with Mason. Even though we have talked and facetimed every day our wonderful families said goodbye to our summer in Henley Beach, Florida, I wish he were here and taking me to Homecoming. Due to the fact that he is and lives across the country in Los Angeles, California, it does not change the fact that I wish that I could see him. After all, I miss him dearly.

Today is my best friend, Caleb's, eighteen-th birthday, and I am here in Houston for the night to surprise him. Due to the fact that this was a big birthday for Caleb, my favorite and amazing Aunt Joan, whom I live with in LA while filming my TV show, and my wonder-ful parents let me fly down from LA to surprise him. There is also the little fact that I wanted to see my parents. After all, I have missed them dearly!

Dear Journal, From Monday, 5/27- Wednesday, 7/3. I was in Los Angeles filming an awesome and fun movie that will be released in March 2020. After I returned home from filming on 7/4, I partook in my dance team's morning dance camp from Monday, 7/8- Friday, 7/12. Even though I had fun doing these things, I am definitely in need of a vacation. As of today, that is exactly what I am getting! From today until Friday, my family and our best friends in the entire world will be spending a week together at my family's extra large beach house in Henley Beach, Florida! Not only am I excited about seeing everyone, but I am especially excited about seeing my best friends and secret love interest! Truth be told, I am truly looking forward to this week!-Kheringto

Today is a big day for my dance team and me. We are competing at the 2019 Colorado State Dance Competition. The competition is being held in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Pikes Peak Center. Today twenty dance teams from twenty different schools from all over Colorado will be competing for the title of the 2019 Colorado State Dance Champions. With this said, I really want us to win today.

"Why don't you go over there and say hi to her?" Rhonda asked her older brother, Jere-miah. "She's such a cool sweet-heart, and won't bite, I prom-ise.""Are you kidding? I would be so nervous, that I would not know what to say!" Jere-miah ex-claimed. "After all, it is not every day that your celebrity crush and favorite super model of all time moves in next door!""I know, but you could start off by intro-ducing yourself, and welcom-ing her Dad to the church. After all, he starts on Sun-day.""Thank you for the tip." Jere-miah smiled."You're wel-come." Rhonda smiled, attempt-ing to make her way out of Jere-miah's room. "And bro?""Hmm?""Just remem-ber that Karla Blanton is not just an inter-national super-model, she is a regular teen and person who is more than likely a little nervous about being in a new place and meeting people."

At Jargon High School, it is a tradition for an end of the year dance to be held for the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors on the night of the last day of school. It is one of my favorite school traditions of all time. After all, I love having the time of my life dancing with my best friends, our good friends, and the plethora of JHS students. As I pull on my black tank top, faded blue jeans, and black, strappy, low wedge heels, I cannot help but feel excited! After all, tonight is going to be awesome!

Ever since Friday, my best guy friend and I have not been speaking. Somehow, we had gotten into a small argument over nothing and it had turned into a big argument. Somewhere during the argument, I had said some horrible and untrue things that I wish more than anything that I could take back. Out of anger, I had told Brady that I wished that I had never fallen in love with him, and that he was the biggest jerk that I had ever met. In return, Brady had said that he wished he had never fallen in love with me, and asked why would he ever want to become exclusive with someone like me? That had hurt me. For two days, I was livid at him. However, that anger that I had initially directed at Brady had soon become directed at myself. If I had not said what I had said to Brady, he would not have said what he said to me. At this point, I do not blame Brady for saying what he did. In fact, I am not angry at nor hate him, either. I am heartbroken because I have more than likely ruined my chances with a wonderful and genuine guy that means the world to me.

Dear Journal, Today is my eighteenth birthday, and it has been a great one so far! Not only did I get to enjoy an amazing birthday breakfast and lunch that my wonderful aunt had prepared, but she, Mom, and I went birthday shopping, and pampered ourselves at the spa! I also received some pretty cool gifts from everyone, as well!Moving on, let me tell you a little bit about what is going to go on tonight for dinner. My family and Max's family are going to meet up at P.F. Chang's for dinner tonight! Even though my parents have met Max and love him to death, they have not met his awesome and amazing parents! Truth be told, I have a strong feeling that they are going to hit it off!-Mitchie

However, was it good enough to beat the other four girls who had gone before her, as well as land her the title of the McCarthy Academy gymnastics team's floor gymnast?

As Brylee, Bryce, and Blakely got their mani/pedi's, Brylee took into deep consideration what her best friends were saying. There had been evidence since Brad and Blakely had met that he might like her. Maybe her best friends had a point. Maybe Brad actually did like Brylee as more than a friend. Confidence filling her heart, Brylee decided that she would be telling Brad about how she felt tonight at homecoming.

Dear Journal, Not only is today Valentine's Day, it is also my eighteenth birthday! With this said, I received one of the best birthday/ Valentine's Day presents that I could ever ask for! My best friend and secret love interest, Leif Morgan, asked me out on a date! Even though Leif asked me out on a date hours ago, I am still in shock (In a good way!)! -Lan

My twin sister, Kinley, is not just my twin sister, but she is also my best friend in the entire world. I cannot imagine sharing a birthday with anyone else but her. On a different note, I am in the car with my Mom as we speak, heading to the mansion from the airport. This is due to the fact that I flew in from LA on my private plane to stay the night and surprise my sister, our best friends, and good friends at her co-ed sleep-over. Even though I am only able to stay the night, and have to leave late tomorr-ow morning, coming here and surpri-sing Kinley and every-one else is so worth it!

"Wait, what?" Evie Perrison asked, as she lay in her hospital bed."Are you sure?" Mrs. Perrison asked, tears filling her eyes. "I was just about to ask the same queston." Mr. Perrison whispered, tears filling his own eyes. "Is this accurate?" "It sure is, Ella, Evie and Emmett." Dr. Molly smiled. "Evie's blood work came back, and the cancer is gone." Moments later, Ella, Emmett, and Evie were hugging each other and crying. This was the best Christmas news that they could ever receive.
