- Amazing Photography Without A Camera
288,95 kr. Larry Singer, a former photojournalist turned scanner artist, expands and redefines fine art photography. Using only an Epson photo scanner and a computer, Singer creates photographic images of such sculptural dimensionality and tonal depth, that they belie the flat surface on which they were created. One of Singer's scanner images was featured in the January 2015 issue of Popular Photography magazine. In addition to working as a photojournalist, Singer's images have also been used to create posters, greeting cards, calendars and album covers. During Singer's 13-year career as a contributing photographer with Circus magazine, he photographed many of the rock music's greatest stars during the 1970s including The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Rod Stewart and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

263,95 kr. In 1971, college-freshman Larry Singer approached a local concert promoter for permission to take concert photographs for his column in a small-town newspaper. Little did he know that, a verbal agreement and handshake later, he would have unrestricted access to countless rock-and-roll musicians that would later be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Two years later, he was recruited to shoot for Circus magazine and his images were being picked up for mass-market posters and promotions¿and he gained access to shoot at concert venues and festival around the country. In the ensuing years, Singer shot photos of The Who, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, and many more. In this book, he takes readers behind the scenes with stories and photos from his favorite performers and concerts.
